B. parallel zu seiner Bodenkante mehrere Male gefaltet ist, so dass der Becher in zwei, drei oder   mehrere,     annähernd gleich grosse, übereinander gelegene   Räume eingeteilt ist. Diese Querfalten dienen dazu, einerseits den Verschluss des Bechers zu bilden, somit die vorher eingefüllten Stoffe vor dem Herausfallen zu schützen, andrerseits dem Becher eine geeignetere   Versandform   zu geben, insbesondere aber in dem Becher selbst eine getrennte Verpackung mehrerer   Stoffe zu ermöglichen.   Dies ist   bei Brauselimonadenpulvern. medizinischen Brause-   salzen u. s. w. von ganz besonderer Bedeutung.

   Der Vorteil liegt darin, dass die   alkalischen   Stoffe, welche bei Brausesalzen bisher mittelst umständlicher Verfahren mit den übrigen Stoffen vereinigt wurden, jedoch trotzdem allmählich auf die vorhandenen Sauren, insbesondere aromatischen Fruchtsäuren, ungünstig einwirkten, diese stumpf machten und   deren Wohlgeschmack beeinträchtigten,   auf diese Weise durch eine Falte getrennt sind und   ihre Wirkung   erst beim Aufbiegen des Bechers und Öffnen desselben, durch Zusammen-
