The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for setting the operating values, one
X-ray tube, in which a fluoroscopic mA actuator, a fluoroscopic kV actuator, a mAs actuator, a recording kV actuator and a mode selector, a selector for automatic exposure control, a slot controller and a work station controller are provided, with the outputs of the
Steller and selector are connected to an encoder and the output of the encoder to one
Memory in which data is stored in accordance with the characteristics of the permissible operating values of the X-ray tube set in each case is connected.
When operating X-ray tubes, the anode voltage control must first ensure that a preselected anode voltage actually occurs at the anode of the tube during X-ray recording or X-ray fluoroscopy. The anode current, which causes a voltage drop, must be considered as a disturbance variable. The size of this anode current in the X-ray exposure is determined in particular by the limit load on the anode, the limit emission by the cathode or by the shortest possible switching time. In general, the anode current is therefore a function of the set anode voltage and the set mAs product, as long as the shortest possible exposure time and maximum possible utilization of the respectively set X-ray tube is aimed at for a given type of load.
The anode current is preselected during the fluoroscopy. In both cases, the voltage drop due to the anode current must be taken into account when setting the anode voltage. At low
Under certain circumstances this voltage drop can be neglected in anode currents.
So far, suggestions have been made of an electromechanical type that linked the interrelationships with one another using mechanical links and simple mechanical-kinematic gears for subtasks. With the advancing demands for greater accuracy and better adaptation to the actual limits of the X-ray tube load capacities, the difficulties and the effort required according to these previously known proposals increase considerably.
The object of the invention is to provide a circuit arrangement of the type mentioned at the outset which avoids the latter disadvantages and enables the optimal operating values of an x-ray tube to be set by sensible but particularly simple use of modern switching means and operators.
The circuit arrangement according to the invention is characterized in that in each case one output of the memory is connected to the kV actuator and the second output of the memory is connected to a digital-to-analog converter, the digital-to-analog converter being the analog setpoint of the permissible mA directly or via the heating current or supplies the heating voltage indirectly, this setpoint is compared with the actual value of the tube current or the tube heating current or the tube heating voltage in the comparison element and influences the actuator for the heating voltage or the heating current of the X-ray tube via a controller.
With this circuit arrangement according to the invention for setting the operating values of an X-ray tube, it is possible for the first time to convert the digital results into analog criteria in front of the most favorable location for the operation of the X-ray tube and its feeding devices.
According to a further feature of the invention, in order to compare the anode current of the respective X-ray tube, its actual value can be taken from the memory directly at a point of the high-voltage generator close to the earth and its immediate anode current setpoint can be taken from the memory and fed to a comparator. This provides an almost continuous setting of the permissible load values for the respective X-ray tube.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the comparison of the anode current setpoint and actual value takes place via the setpoint and actual value of the heating voltage or the heating current on the basis of the heating voltage-anode current or heating current-anode current diagram of the respective X-ray tube, wherein the respective heating voltage or heating current corresponding to the diagram can be taken from the respective memory, with the aim of achieving the above-mentioned advantages even in cases in which it is not possible to take the actual anode current value close to the ground.
The invention is explained in more detail with reference to an embodiment shown in the drawings. 1 and 2 show a circuit arrangement in which the regulation of the anode current and FIG. 3 a circuit arrangement in which the regulation is dependent on the primary heating voltage.

1, the n-bit lines from the various adjusters open into an encoder-1-. The line --n2 - is with the adjuster --2-- for the fluoroscopic current, the line --n, - with the adjuster --3-- for the fluoroscopic voltage, the cable -n for the adjuster --4- - for the recording mAs, the line is connected to the adjuster --5-- for the recording voltage.
The management --n. - is used for the operating mode exposure scanning and the line --n 7 - for switching to automatic exposure control. In the case of automatic exposure control, a delayed safety shutdown is coded via line --n 7 -, instead of the direct high-voltage shutdown, while the setpoint shutdown is controlled directly by the automatic exposure device. Furthermore, in Fig. 2 the SteIler --20-- is used for the selection of the slot, while the SteIler --21-- is used for the workplace (tube) selection.
In the case shown in FIG. 2, the coupling with the data selection via the encoder 1 is met, whereas the coupling with the high-voltage switchover part and the memory selection are indicated, for example, in an analog manner. 2 workstations are drawn as an example in FIG. 2 (tubes --10 and 10a-).
The dual number selected in the encoder-1 is fed to a memory 8 (or 8a). This dual number in the memory --8-- (or --8a--) is used to select the address of the memory location whose content on the one hand corrects the KV actuator --9-- and on the other hand via a digital-analog converter-18-den allowable anode current target value of the X-ray tube in analog form to the comparator --19-- for the purpose of regulating the heating current.
The actual value of the tube current, for example from the high-voltage generator 17, is also fed to this comparator --19--. The regulator-12-- fed by the comparator --19-- passes on its commands to the heating element --13--, which determines the heating current of the X-ray tube via the heating transformer --16--.
In the example of the variant according to FIG. 3, the selected dual number passes from the coded - 1-- to the memory --8-- and the selected content on the one hand to the kV actuator --9-- and on the other hand to the digital-to-analog converter --11--. The digital-to-analog converter --11-- gives the primary heating voltage of the X-ray tube, which determines the anode current, to the comparator --19--. This
On the other hand, comparator --19-- the actual value of the primary heating voltage is supplied. The controller --12-- fed by the comparator --19-- then passes on its commands to the heating actuator --13--. Instead of the target and actual values of the heating voltage, the target and actual values of the adequate heating currents can also occur.
The essence of the invention is to be seen in the memory 8 common to each work station and in the encoder 1, the memory 8 (or 8a) and the encoder -1, possibly also in two or several parts can be resolved, which are optionally also connected accordingly to the central circuit via analog switching elements.
