Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   <Desc / Clms Page number 1>

   The subject of the invention relates to hollow blocks of various shapes and sizes, in which one or more recesses of different cross-sectional shape are arranged at two or on all four outer sides, at intervals, to form mortar pockets, these recesses being provided with a cover plate which can be driven in.

   The hollow blocks designed in this way can be used for both wall width and length for two wall thicknesses by removing the cover plates from those recesses that are to form the mortar pockets in the butt joint of the wall structure.

   In the previously known hollow blocks, they are provided with one or more recesses of different cross-sectional shape on the vertical butting surfaces provided, as a result of which mortar pockets are formed during the bricking. These recesses are usually arranged on two opposite outer sides of the hollow blocks, which means that mortar pockets are only formed in one direction of laying of the masonry.

   The subject of the invention is to be explained in more detail with the aid of the drawings, in which FIG. 1 shows a hollow block block, on the four outer sides of which one or more recesses are each arranged, which are again provided with cover plates 2 - 2, which can be driven in, see also FIG. 4 .

   2 and 3 show exemplary embodiments, the hollow blocks being able to be laid in the masonry structure once with their long side (FIG. 2) and once with their broad side (FIG. 3), and after the cover plates have been hammered in - the mortar pockets - 3-- and fill with mortar --5--.

   5 shows a hollow block, which has recesses on only one broad side and one on the long side, and as a result, in the wall structure, as is shown in FIGS. 6, 7 and 8,
 EMI1.1

The termination points in the masonry, as well as in the window and door openings, result in a level plaster surface --6-- by not breaking the cover plate --2--.
