Beispiel III : l Teil Dimethylphenylthioglykol-o-karbonsäure wird mit der 5fachen Menge Nitrobenzol mehrere Stunden zum Kochen erhitzt. Die Lösung färbt sich rot und beim Erkalten krystallisiert der Farbstoff aus.
