The invention relates to a projector for the selective projecting of transmitted light images or
Motion picture films, with a projection objective, a light source displaceably guided in the direction of the objective axis, a condenser lens which can be moved into the beam path of the projector, a frame for transmitted light images and a film transport device which is displaceably guided transversely to the beam path. It deals with the task of enabling projectors of this type to transition from the projection of motion picture films to the projection of transmitted light images or vice versa in a particularly simple manner.
According to the invention, a lever mechanism with a two-armed lever pivotable about a fixed point serves to solve this problem, one arm of which is connected to the condenser lens and the other arm to the film transport device, the light source being articulated to the free end of the by means of a connecting rod articulated to its holder The first-mentioned lever arm is connected and the entire lever mechanism is movable in two end positions, in the first of which the film transport device is aligned at a small distance in the center of the projection lens and the light source in a small distance in the center of the film window of the film transport device, while the condenser lens is moved out of the beam path , and in the second of which the film transport device is shifted out of the beam path,
whereas the condenser lens stands in front of the fixed frame for the projection of transmitted light images and the light source is located in the beam path behind the condenser lens.
This simple lever mechanism requires only a small amount of space and makes it possible to use the same light source and the same projection lens for the projection of transparencies and motion picture films by simply moving the lever mechanism into one of its two end positions to bring about the correct relative position of the optical parts of the projection system.
The connections between the two lever arms and the condenser lens or the film transport device are advantageously formed by pins guided in slots. The film transport device and devices for winding the motion picture film can be attached to a carriage that is displaceably guided transversely to the projector. In order to achieve the same size of the projected images with both types of projection, an additional lens permanently connected to the film transport device can be attached in front of the window.
The light source can be a conventional, direct-acting reflector projection lamp, but is preferably formed by the exit end of a light-conducting fiber optic to which a projection lamp is assigned.
In the following an embodiment of the invention is described in more detail with reference to the drawings. 1 shows a schematic plan view of essential parts of a projector according to the invention in a first end position of the lever mechanism, FIG. 2 shows a schematic side view of the projector in the position shown in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a plan view corresponding to FIG The projector in a second end position of the lever mechanism; and FIG. 4 is a schematic side view of the projector in the position shown in FIG. 3.
The projector shown in Fig. 1 has a lens system or objective --1--, a guide --2-- arranged on the right side for a magazine for transmitted light images and in the middle a fixed frame --3-- for a to projecting transmitted light image. A transport device (not shown) can be provided for the automatic transport of the transmitted light images. This is preferably set up so that it can be driven by a drive device -4- in the position shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. A film transport device --5-- and a condenser lens --6-- are arranged in the projector so that they can be moved transversely.
In the position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the transport device --5-- is drive-connected to the drive device --4-- and carries a biconcave additional lens - -7--. The light is fed to the projector via a fiber optic 8-- fed by a light source (not shown). This sits in a holder - -9-- which is displaceably guided in the axial direction of the projector. The condenser lens --6 - and the film transport device --5 - are slidably guided in the transverse direction of the projector. A two-armed, two slotted arm and lOb-exhibiting lever --10-- is pivotably mounted on a pin --11--.
The transport device --5-- is connected via a pin --12-- to the lever arm -10b- and the condenser lens --6-- via a pin --13-- to: iem lever arm --10a--. A connecting rod --14-- is hinged to the free end of the lever arm --10a-- and to a pin-15-- at the rear end of the bracket --9--. At the top is
