The invention relates to an arrangement for the electrical air conditioning of rooms, in which at least partially made of electrically conductive material elements of a false ceiling that are fixed opposite
Structural parts are electrically isolated, are connected to the positive pole of a DC voltage source and further elements arranged at a distance from them are connected to earth or the negative pole of the DC voltage source.
Arrangements of this type are used in principle to create an electrical system in living rooms and factories
Establishing a constant field, which is similar to that existing in the open air, but mainly by means of grounded ceiling parts that act like a Faraday cage, has a shielded constant field and improves the well-being of the people in the room. Arrangements of the type in question make it possible to generate such a constant field with relatively simple means.
In a known arrangement of the type mentioned, the lower ceiling is designed to be closed and therefore does not allow any air flow. In another embodiment, the suspended ceiling, which can be connected to the positive pole of the power source or has a support that can be connected to this pole, is attached with a spacing on all sides, the floor of the room is earthed and a negative electrode is attached at a distance above the mentioned suspended ceiling that extends beyond its edge . On the side of the facing this electrode
Spikes are provided under the ceiling in order to generate an ionization of the air flowing through through peak discharge.
All known arrangements have the disadvantage that dust particles present in the air,
Germs and Like. At least partially ionized or charged, so that they are mainly deposited on the parts connected to the positive pole of the power source, possibly also on earth or earthed parts.
Charged particles also adhere much better to furniture, floor coverings, etc. than non-charged particles, and there is therefore a particular cleaning problem with the previously known arrangements of the type mentioned above. Especially in the known arrangement in which an air duct between the
If the lower ceiling and the negative electrode arranged above it takes place, there will be considerable accumulations of dust in the space or on the mutually facing sides of the lower ceiling and electrode, with the dust being difficult to remove from the areas mentioned.
The invention relates to an arrangement of the type mentioned and consists in that the elements connected to the negative pole of the DC voltage source or to earth, leaving air duct gaps in the longitudinal edge area of, for. B. as bars, lamellas, pipes or supports or in a known manner as plates, connected to the positive pole of the DC voltage source are arranged ceiling elements and preferably even upwardly open dust collector channels or the like. Or components of such channels or over Dust collector channels are arranged.
A preferred embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is that the elements connected to the negative pole of the DC voltage source or to earth are designed as lamellae placed on edge, preferably concave to the associated elongated, in particular tubular ceiling elements connected to the positive pole of the DC voltage source. For the sake of completeness, it should be mentioned that the voltage applied depends in practice on the height of the room and on the effective area of the parts to be energized. The greater the height of the room and the smaller the effective area, the higher the applied voltage can be selected in practice. Normally the order of magnitude of the applied voltage is around 1 to 10 V / cm room height.
In the embodiment according to the invention, the neutralization of charged dust particles or the deposition of these dust particles is concentrated on preferred locations from where, if necessary, deposits can be removed without significant difficulties. It is even possible to provide suction devices at the preferred deposition sites, with the aid of which the deposited particles can be removed.
The subject matter of the invention is illustrated, for example, in the drawings. 1 shows an arrangement according to the invention schematically, partly in section and partly in a diagram, and FIG. 2 shows, in a similar representation, part of another arrangement according to the invention with a suspended ceiling.
According to Fig. 1, hanging devices --2-- pointing downwards are attached to a solid ceiling - l - which support beam-like girders - 3 - which extend over the length and which have outer flanges --4-- raised like a channel which are supported with the interposition of insulating layers --5-- plate-like ceiling elements --6--. The ceiling elements --6 - are made of synthetic resin material in which, in the exemplary embodiment, grid-shaped electrical conductors - 7 - are embedded. These conductors --7- are connected to the positive pole of a DC voltage source via a connection line --8--.

The lamellas - 17 - not only form shields and dust deposit surfaces, but also, together with the solid ceiling, air guide surfaces, so that the air flows around the pipe - 14 - at the sides and above.
