 EMI2.1
Surface 19 and a second surface 20, which is angled against this, is to be formed.

In this case, the machine is to be set up by means of the adjusting bracket 8 and the adjusting screw 9 so that the surface 20 of the model is parallel to the lifting direction, i.e. perpendicular in this case when the molding box 21 rests on the molding table 7. It is natural, by the way,
 EMI2.2
which, because this process is known, needs no further explanation.

The tamping of the molding sand over the model 19, 20 happens as usual by first setting the turning plate 11 horizontally, u. zw. So that the molding box 21 is at the top. When the ramming is completed and the mold is ready to be excavated by scraping off the sand, the turning plate 11 together with the box 21 detachably connected to it is swung into the position shown in FIG. Of course, this happens after the lever 16 has been turned to the right so that the parts 10 and 21 are in an elevated position.

By then slowly moving the lever 16 back to the position indicated in FIG. 1, i.e. lowering the turning plate 11 and the molding box 21, the two last-mentioned parts are held by hand approximately in the inclined position that matches the inclination of the table top 7 and at the same time rolls the frame 6 with the table top 7 from right to left until 7 comes to rest on 21.

The bumper bar 22 protrudes somewhat from the lower end of the surface of the table 7.

While the box 21 is now sinking deeper and deeper, the plate 7, which is easily movable on the rollers J, deviates horizontally from the initial position 7 '(FIG. 3) until the box 21 rests on the bumper bar 22 (FIG. 1) .

This completes the preparation for lifting the model out of the mold.

Now, for the second time, very slowly and carefully, the lever 16 is turned to the right and knocked with the wooden mallet at suitable points on the turning plate 11 to loosen the model in the sand mold, while it slowly moves upwards by moving the lever 16 is pulled. In this case, the angled surface 20 pulls out of the sand mold with the security that generally adheres to the machine molding process.

Once this is done, the work process is finished and the molding box is removed from the machine

Claims (1)

EMI2.4 includes the molding box like the angled model part with the parting line so that the model can be lifted out of the mold parallel to the angled surface.
