< "' (Fig. 3) zu liegen kommt.

a little bit, you can turn the second projection plane around the axis of these screws and fold it into the first projection plane. So that the second projection plane does not sag, the lower edge of the projection plane N is reinforced backwards by a sheet metal strip, which is not shown in the drawing for the sake of simplicity.
The rows of holes are marked with numbers, which are written on the vertical edges in the actual design of the apparatus; they catch for example

one to the right and one to the front. Each point (hole) in the first projection plane is then determined by the digits of two rows; the same applies to the points (holes) of the second projection plane.
The third projection plane S made from sheet metal (FIG. 2) is set up similarly to the second projection plane, but has only two vertical edges D, D with a common edge. The edges are cut at the ends so that you can b! echorne projection plane with the other two sides can sit directly on the walls of the projection planes P and N, u. either as a third projection plane perpendicular to both planes P and N or, if required, also as an auxiliary projection plane, which is only perpendicular to one of the two projection planes P and N, as can be seen, for example, in the illustration in FIG. 5 and below is described.
For this purpose, the perforation of this projection plane is set up in such a way that the analog rows in all of the projection planes agree with one another. The centers of the holes in the outermost rows of the plane S fall exactly into the edges y, z of the projection plane Si in the extension of the vertical edge z, a point t is provided at the top, which goes into one of the holes in the vertical edges of the other projection planes is introduced.
At the lower end, the projection plane S has two horizontal incisions u 'into which the supports, which are shown in a diagrammatic view on a larger scale in FIG. 3, have been inserted, u. betw. the vertex t4 is led into the incision 11 ', while the part u "(FIG. 2) comes to lie in the space! <"' (FIG. 3).
An example of how the present facility can be used in teaching or studying descriptive geometry is illustrated by the representation of the shadow cast by a circle. One constructs the drop shadow t'of the center
