<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

EMI2.4
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
Sie bleiben also in ihrer Lage.

The invention relates to a cine projector and associated tape drive for a separate from the picture film, so that running synchronously, the drive of the tape drive by the constant-speed projector motor, for. B. an asynchronous motor takes place.
Such projectors have become known, a common take-up or unwinding roller being used to produce perfect synchronicity between the video film and the audio tape. It has also become known to use the tape to counteract any potential problems with sluggish and resilient compensating rollers
To protect speed fluctuations.
There are also projectors known that in a double cassette both the image film and the
Tape included so that the projector motor drives them together.
It has also become known to provide a flywheel for the sound drive of a sound film drive, the drive being effected via an elastic coupling in order to filter out drive disturbances.
In the known use of tape recorders of conventional design in structural connection with
As is also known to projectors, it is important to protect the running speed of the tape in front of the tape head from fluctuations in the speed of the projector drive by creating an elastic but slip-free coupling.
The invention is based on the object of designing a projector of the type outlined above so that, using a cassette device of the usual type, which is built into the projector and takes over the drive from the projector motor, the necessary elastic coupling is effective and against overloading beyond the elastic limit secured, attached.
This is achieved in that in such a projector, in which a cassette device built into the projector serves as the tape drive, as is known per se, the power path between the main shaft of the projector driven by the motor and the capstan or the respective take-up reel of the cassette device is one behind the other an elastic coupling and a flywheel are located, wherein the elastic coupling is a connector made of an elastic material, which is supported by a rigid, z. B. tubular anti-rotation part is surrounded, which is connected at its one end to the connector, but can rotate at its other end relative to the connector in the circumferential direction by a certain angular amount.
The invention enables the cost-effective installation of cassette tape recorders of the usual design, saving the motor of these devices and with a particularly reliable coupling that keeps away interference waves from the tape on the tape head.
In a further embodiment of the invention, electromechanical locks are arranged in order to prevent faulty switching of the tape transport and thus a mess and an inadmissible unwinding of the tape, as could otherwise occur with such cassette devices.
Embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings and described below. 1 shows a plan view of a first exemplary embodiment of the invention with the drive means and the cassette device. Fig. 2 in a side view and partially schematically a further embodiment of the elastic force transmission means, including the associated parts of the projector and the cassette device.
3 shows, in a partial representation, a modification of the embodiment according to FIG. 2 and FIG. 4 shows the electro-mechanical basic circuit diagram for blocking and releasing the tape transport.
According to the embodiment shown in Fig. 1 is in the upper rear area of the projector-l-a cassette tape recorder-5-, which via a belt drive --3-- from the main shaft

The cassette that can be removed from the cassette player --5-- is marked with. The cassette device can be built entirely or partially into the projector; H. be organically integrated into its structure. This can be done in the form of an extension or an installation incorporated into the housing wall.
According to the embodiments of Figs. 2 and 3 are in the power path between the main drive shaft - and the capstan --6 - or a take-up reel (not shown in detail) of the

The end - 4 '- of the main shaft - 4 - is connected to an elastic coupling according to FIG. 2, which in this example has a cylindrical connecting piece --7-- made of an elastic material such as rubber or plastic can. Instead, a spring could also serve as a connecting piece.
A spiral spring is preferably provided for this purpose, since it is very elastic and has a long service life. The connecting piece is surrounded by a tubular anti-rotation part - 7 '. As a result, the elastic part of the coupling is secured against loading beyond its elastic limit. This is e.g. B. when starting, when stopping and when changing the direction of rotation of the projector or in the event of an unexpected heavy load on the tape side. During normal operation, however, the clutch spring or the like can freely oscillate elastically.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The design of the coupling is the same in the examples of FIGS. 2 and 3, but FIG. 3 shows the parts on a slightly enlarged scale. In particular from FIG. 3 it emerges that the elastic connecting piece can consist of a rod-shaped core part which merges in one piece into two cup-shaped connecting parts -14, 15- in which the respective shaft ends are attached in a rotationally fixed manner. This results in a continuous, but inherently elastic wave. The elastic coupling has first

Eliminate mechanical disturbing vibrations.
The second task of the clutch is to absorb the higher-frequency wow and flutter coming from the projector shaft 4. This is the case when the elastic part of the coupling is tuned so that it can oscillate elastically freely while running and the transmission force is at least as great as to keep the rotating masses --9 / 12-- in motion. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the flywheel or flywheel --9-- is installed in the space of the cassette device, which otherwise has to be available for its drive motor, so that no changes need to be made to the dimensions of the cassette device.

to be protected.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 3, the drive wheel --10 '- for the belt drive - 11' - is located between the flywheel 9 'and the elastic coupling. Otherwise, the function and numbering of this arrangement is the same as in the example shown in FIG.
Both in the example in FIG. 2 and in FIG. 3, the elastic belt drive 11 or 11 '- on a drive wheel of smaller diameter - 10 or 10' - the flywheel - 9 or 9 '- and be clamped on a larger diameter driving wheel -12-the capstan -6 or 6'-serving as a further flywheel. This further contributes to the damping or equalization of the torque derived from the film drive.
The structure and mode of operation of the switching and locking device shown purely schematically in FIG. 4 is as follows:
The projector drive motor --2-- can be switched to forward and reverse using the pushbuttons -16 and 17- of the projector. -18, 19- denote the unwinding and take-up reels of the projector during the forward run, with the arrow indicating the corresponding direction of travel. The take-up reel of the cassette player bears the number --24-- and the supply reel (each related to the course marked with an arrow) has the number -25--.
EMI2.4
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
In addition, the --20-- button can be moved to the left in the position for "fast rewind" of the tape and to the right in the position for "fast forward" of the tape. In the former case, the microswitch --21-- acting as a switching device is opened, the circuit in the projector motor is interrupted and the tape rewind is blocked when the projector is running forwards. In the second case, moving the button --20-- to the right opens the microswitch -22-, which also functions as a switching device. This prevents the tape from being wound forward when the projector is running backwards.
Otherwise, moving the button - 20 - from the "recording / playback" position to the "zero" position or vice versa does not result in the microswitches - 21, 22 - being switched. So you stay in your position. It goes without saying that the operative connection between the button - 20 - and the switches - 21 to 23 - is different in the practical embodiment than in this schematic illustration.
