In order to bring the pointer back to the zero position after the reading, it is advisable to mount the dial so that it can be rotated, for example a gear 6 can be attached to the dial, in which a gear 7 engages, the shaft 8 of which ends in a square, see above that only the owner of the key that fits the square can set the dial.
The opening of the sleeve containing the clock can also expediently only take place in a known manner using a suitable key.
Two stop pins prevent the pendulum from rotating by an angle that exceeds the normal range of oscillation when the lever 2 is turned upwards.
Instead of a pendulum clock, a spiral spring clock can also be used and around the

Ahwart rotation of the dragon but falls down on a pin 10 and releases the unrest.
In order to only allow the person authorized to operate the lever 2, the following device, which can be seen in FIGS. 4 and 5, is made.
One of the journals 3, which can be displaced in the axial direction in the bearings 4, has at its end a hexagon 77 of such a cross section that the circle inscribed in the hexagon corresponds to the cross section of the journals 3. On the other hand, the cross section of the associated bearing 4 corresponds exactly to the cross section of the hexagon 11, so that in the position shown in FIG. 4, the lever 2 cannot be rotated. To be able to make such, the pin 3 must be moved so far in the direction of their axis of rotation against the action of the spring 12 until the

slides, serves as a guide. When the rotation is complete, the spring 12 pushes all parts back into the starting position.
So that only the person entrusted with the monitoring of the billiard can carry out the axial locking of the pegs 5, the other peg 3 is included in its circumference

8 shows the analogous application of the modified version just described to a spiral spring watch rigidly attached to the billiard board. According to the same only the stop 21 has a different shape, which makes it suitable for complete
