Verfahren zur Behandlung von Ramie, Holzfaser u. dgl.
Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren, um die gummiartigcu und färbenden Substanzen, welche in der rohen Ramie, in der Holzfaser und in ähnlichen Faserstoffen enthalten sind, zu entfernen und die Fasern auf diese Weise für das Vorspinnen geeignet zu machen.
Das Verfahren besteht darin, dass das Rohmaterial gegebenenfalls nach vorausgehendem Hosen gleichzeitig oder abwechselnd der Einwirkung von Dampf und Ozon ausgesetzt wird, wodurch die durch die chemische Behandlung nicht zu beseitigende tnkrustations-und Interzellularsubstanz derart brüchig wird, dass deren Entfernung auf mechanischem Wege leicht orfolgeu kann. Es ist wohl bekannt, das Rohmaterial der Einwirkung von Dampf aHein aus/. usetzen, um das Röstverfahren zu beschleunigen ; auch die Behandlung der fertigen Faser mit Ozon allein, zum Zwecke des Bleichens ist bekannt.
Doch handelt es sich beim Gegenstande vorliegender Erfindung nicht um das Bleichen einer sonst fertigen Faser. sondern um einen Dekortationsprozess, bei welchem die harzigen Interzellularsubstanzen
