Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

   The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for single-phase capacitor motors with at least two phase windings, of whose four winding connections the two connected to one another are connected to one of the two connection terminals of the network and the other two are connected on the one hand to the operating capacitor and on the other hand to the external contacts of a control switch .

   In known circuit arrangements of this type, the changeover contact of the control switch is connected directly to the other connection terminal of the network. As a result, the switching sparks that occur when the control switch is actuated cause interference oscillations that penetrate the line network and thus cause high-frequency interference in radio reception. If such disturbances exceed a frequency limited by regulations, as is the case, for example, when changing the direction of rotation of the washing drum of electrically driven washing machines, then the relevant circuit arrangements have to be suppressed, which was previously usually done by combining capacitor combinations and interference suppression chokes between the network and control switch were switched.

   However, such measures are relatively complex and usually only cause interference suppression, by means of which the interference voltage or the interference field strength is only reduced to such an extent that the values in question are only significantly below the permissible limit values.

   According to the invention, extensive interference suppression is achieved in a circuit arrangement of the type mentioned in that the changeover contact of the control switch, in particular a single-pole changeover switch, is connected to the winding connection facing away from the mains connection of a third main phase winding of the motor, which is fed by the other connection terminal of the mains. This eliminates the need for interference suppression chokes arranged between the network and the control switch, since the interference suppression is effected by the motor windings located between the control switch and the network, which have a significantly higher inductance than the usual interference suppression chokes.

   By designing the control switch as a single-pole changeover switch, the circuit arrangement can also be used in an equally advantageous manner on devices in which the direction of rotation of the motor has to be constantly changed, as is the case, for example, for washing machines with the direction of rotation of the washing drum changing after a relatively short period of time.

   An exemplary embodiment of the circuit arrangement according to the invention is shown in the drawing.
