The parent patent is based on a three-phase electromagnet, in particular a brake magnet for electric motors, with a magnetic core of radially arranged, upright with respect to the pole face, preferably embedded in a plastic compound, and in separate, spaced recesses of these lamellae between lamellar webs housed ring-shaped phase windings.
According to the invention protected in the parent patent, the dimensions of the lamellar webs remaining between the recesses vary in size within the pole face.
The present further development of the invention protected in the parent patent deals in particular with the choice of those optimal dimensions of the recesses and the lamellar webs which each result in a comparatively maximum performance within a pole face of a certain size. As the parent patent already states, the invention protected by him has the decisive advantage that by coordinating the lamellar dimensions, i.e. by sensibly dimensioning the lamellar webs, the recesses formed between these webs and the lamellar yoke connecting the webs, a surprisingly large, exceptionally high performance of the Magnet can be achieved and thus the space and material requirements of the magnet can be reduced to an optimal minimum at a predetermined target power.
The invention now shows a way for the best possible coordination of these lamella dimensions and gives an exact teaching for the determination of the optimal dimensions.
According to the most essential feature of the invention, the recesses of the lamellas are in the order from the inside to the outside approximately in the area ratio of 4: 3: 2 and are preferably of the same depth.
In particular, the invention is concerned with the design of an annular magnet which has a recess in its center for the passage of the motor shaft of an electric motor for which the magnet is used as a braking magnet.
In such a ring-shaped electromagnet, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the recesses of the lamellae arranged within an annular space are arranged at axial distances from the center, which are in the order from inside to outside in a ratio of about 1: 1.5: 1.9 The distance between the inner edge of the lamellas facing the center and the center is approximately one third of the distance between the outer edge of the lamellae and the center.
Furthermore, it was recognized by the patent holder that it proves to be useful if - according to a further feature of the invention - the height of the common lamellar yoke connecting the lamellar webs is smaller, preferably about a quarter smaller than the height of the lamellar webs or the depth of the Slat recesses.
The widths of the lamellar webs remaining between the cutouts are in the order from the inside to the outside, such as 1, 4: 1, 9: 1, 5: 1.
EMI1.1
a circular electric motor-Bremsma-lamellae --34-.
As can be seen from the drawing, the dimensions are based on this preferred embodiment
EMI1.2
-34-- at height-d-of the common yoke connecting the lamellar webs: 25, 2; Total height-h-of the slat: 60;
EMI1.3
der9, 6: 7, 2: 4, 8; Widths-S, S, Sg, S - of the lamellar webs in the order from inside to outside: 11, 6: 15, 6: 12, 4: 8, 2.
The center distances - Z "z" Z, -of the individual recesses-a-behave as follows: 47, 0: 72, 0: 90, 4.
The patent proprietor determined in lengthy tests that these dimensions represent an absolute optimum in terms of performance and economy of the construction of the electromagnet.
Of course, the invention also includes so-called deteriorated embodiments of the electromagnet, which do not have the same dimensions or ratio values, but aim at least in part to achieve the effect achieved by the invention by choosing similar values.
The electromagnet according to the invention can be used for any purpose, in particular as a brake magnet for electric motors, as a clutch or brake magnet in general mechanical engineering, but also as a lifting magnet in conveyor technology, etc.
