eignet, stellt man auf folgende Weise her.

is made in the following way.
On a suitable hard surface, e.g. B. a polished marble slab, a thin layer of an easy-to-cut material such as wax is spread; suitable for this is beeswax, which is either hardened with solid paraffin or made soft with paraffin oil or the like so that the consistency is such that the mass neither cracks nor sticks to the knife when it is cut. The die is then made from the solid wax sheet by cutting out and removing the cut-out parts.
The die is painted over before or after cutting it out, but while it is still on the solid surface, use a suitable agent to prevent the mixture from sticking, e.g. B. with glycerine, to which a little starch was added just before use. The die is then surrounded with a frame and the melted and well mixed mass is poured onto it, whereby the temperature of the mass must not reach the melting point of the wax. When the mass has solidified, the frame is turned over and the die is removed. The sheet thus obtained is the desired printing plate.
The method of obtaining the die by cutting the pattern into a layer resting on a hard surface and pouring the printing form from it is known per se and does not form the subject of the invention.
