Dammes oder Wehres gefahren wird. Ein am Turbinengehäuse angeschlossenes, gegebenenfalls teleskopartig ausgeführtes Druckrohr wird in den oberen Wassergraben und ein Saugrohr in den unteren Wassergraben gesenkt, während sich die Turbine selbst über dem Wasser befindet.
