Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Ringdüse
 EMI1.1

 <Desc/Clms Page number 2>

  Ring nozzle
 EMI1.1

 <Desc / Clms Page number 2>

   The spray nozzle according to the invention is particularly suitable for rubber-rich, soft mixtures that are not very full and would therefore open too much at high outlet pressure, as well as for thin-walled mixtures
Suitable for hoses, as experience has shown that the contamination is between 0.6 and 0.8 mm.

   Provided that the mixture shows a physical behavior which lies between a solid substance (pressure propagation in one direction only) and a liquid (pressure propagation three-dimensional), the pressure in-Fi-will reach a maximum and in any case by decreasing the friction and the pressure decrease from the outlet opening in-R- can be much smaller than in-Fi-. A material contamination of a size <S passes through the without hindrance
Spray nozzle through.

   A material contamination that is only slightly smaller than but significantly larger than -S 2 -will not cause the hose to be cut open, since the contamination comes to lie close to the -R- plane and the material up to -R- can still close, which is has proven to be particularly advantageous in practice.

   Finally, it has been shown that if the mixture is contaminated by relatively soft particles (e.g. filler or the like), these are ground between F1 and Fi-. This astonishing achievement even goes so far that impurities that are intentionally introduced into the mixture, such as dust, pass the spray head without complaint and the hose is not cut open, but that the impurities only lead to the formation of a hole if they accumulate locally. Naturally, this effect becomes all the more effective, the smaller the difference between the two angles-al and c-can be selected.

   The spray nozzle according to the invention thus allows the use of cheaper types of rubber, which no longer have to be screened, for the production of hoses even with thin walls.

    PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Ring nozzle for one. Extrusion press processing plastic masses, which has a larger gap width on the inlet side than on the outlet side, characterized in that the cross-sectional area of the outlet opening of the ring nozzle is equal to or at most 10% smaller than the cross-sectional area of the inlet opening.
