Heating basket for drying damp rooms.
The present invention relates to a heating basket, which consists of two parts, u. between the coke basket made of iron rods and its holding frame, the latter being made of an air box with partially perforated tubes protruding from the same, which serve as a guide for the eok basket.
An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawing, u. Between: FIG. 1 shows a section along line A-B of FIG. 2, FIG. 2 shows a side view of the heating basket, FIG. 3 shows a section along line C-D of FIG.
The heating basket consists essentially of the coke basket a made of iron rods and its holding frame, which is composed of the air box c and of this protruding tubes b. The air box c of the lialtegestelles shows an indentation corresponding to the width of the coke basket, which serves as an ash trap or as a receiving part for the same. The tubes b, which serve as guides for the coke basket, protrude vertically from the air box. To enable guidance, the rods are set in such a way that the tubes appear to be inserted between two rods of the coke basket, so that at this point the space between two rods is completely or partially filled by the wall of tube b.
A more comfortable insertion of the coke basket can be brought about by using flat iron instead of the square iron bars at the guide point.
Air is fed into the air box c through a forked pipe d.
The upper ends of the guide tubes b are half closed, while the wall side facing outwards has a number of holes. This arrangement ensures that the air driven into the pipes emerges from the pipes in a wide line and, in the event of heavy ash fall, air is sucked in through the lower holes. In any case, this in connection with the radiating warmth of the coke basket increases the ventilation considerably. Movable flaps e are attached to the outer upper edge of the tubes, which can be fixed in the desired position by means of chains f
