EMI2.1

EMI2.1
Groups of cords each tightly drawn together to form a bundle and the warp threads 7, 8 delimiting the openwork strip are secured against displacement along the weft threads, so that distortion of the whole during washing is excluded. In order to give the dome perforated strips an appearance similar to a Leitorchen, a particularly strong chain thread 7 or 8 is arranged on both sides in the example shown. However, this is not absolutely necessary for the new binding.
The subject of the invention can of course be used in the most varied of ways and for very different purposes. For example, openwork strips could be formed in the fabric in which such a hem is only provided on one side, so that triangular openings are then formed, etc. The innovation could also be used for the production of borders with a quiistebenbellong. For this purpose only fabrics of the type shown in the drawing were produced
EMI2.2
You then only need to cut this central strip lengthways to get two braids with quiches.
