<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Stage floor, which are interchangeable in relation to the rotatable part --2--. The two lifting platforms --3 and 4-- can be replaced by the rotating housing --1-- in which
EMI2.1
Part --2-- and then swiveled 180 around axis-6- with the help of the housing-l-so that part --4-- comes to lie under the now free stage floor opening and thus possibly also through it on or can be raised above the stage level. In the outer surface of the housing-1-openings -7 and 8-are provided through which decorations and people can be brought onto the parts -3 and 4-of the stage floor.
By means of the above-described elements of the stage floor, pits with a continuously closed floor can be created in the same in the area of the cylinder turntable, which allow mass appearances from below. The pit floor can be adjusted in height as required using the lifting platforms, parts 3 and 4.
The housing --1-- has a rotary drive which, if necessary, also rotates part - 2-- when it is connected to the housing - l -. Part - 2 - of the stage floor also has its own independent rotary drive, in whose power transmission a releasable coupling is switched on. These rotary drives and the drives of the lifting platforms - 3 and 4 - can be designed in a manner known per se and are not the subject of the invention. Devices are provided on the rotatable part --2-- of the stage floor, with which it can be connected alternately with the housing - l - or with the stage floor surrounding the housing - l - in a non-positive or positive fit.
Parts 2, 3 and 4 of the stage floor can also be subdivided several times, each part being equipped with its own drive.
In Fig. 2, the stage arrangement shown in Fig. 1 is shown in plan. The area of the rotatable part - 2 - of the stage floor is formed somewhat larger than half the circular base area of the entire rotary stage and still includes the area around the center of the stage floor. The liftable and lowerable part - 3 - of the stage floor is designed in the shape of a crescent so that its top side with that of part - 2 - complements to form a complete circular area. The contour of the liftable and lowerable part --4-- lying under the rotatable part - 2 - corresponds to the contour of the part --3- and is shown in broken lines in FIG.
In Fig. 3 is a central longitudinal section of a revolving platform according to the invention with some additional equipment, the secondary floors --3A and 4A -, the sinking - 5 -, the superstructures - 9 and 10 -, the drawbridge - 11 - and the slipcase - 15 - which can be important in practical theater-stage operations. These additional devices can be arranged in the rotatable part - 2 - and / or in the raised and lowered parts - 3 and 4 - of the stage floor.
According to Fig. 3, the parts --3A, 4A - are attached to the lifting platforms --3 and 4 -, telescopic retractable, accessible secondary floors, via which access to treads through the

--5 -, - 3A and 4A - fully drawn to the lifting platforms 3 and 4, as shown in dashed lines.
By means of the superstructures - 9 and 10 -, which in Fig. 3 are mounted on part - 3 -, z. B. create an island which, due to the two independent rotary drives for parts - 1 and 2 - can either stand still relative to the auditorium while the rotatable part - 2 - is rotated about axis - 6, or which can be rotated about the axis --6 - in relation to the auditorium via the housing, while the rotatable part - 2 - stands still relative to the auditorium.
For this purpose, the rotatable part --2-- has an otherwise covered opening --14-- in the area of the axis of rotation --6--
EMI2.3
the rotatable part --2-- can also be rotated independently of each other. The island can be accessed, for example, via a drawbridge fixed to the fixed part of the stage - 11 - or via a spiral staircase built into the structure --9--.
Fig. 4 shows the rotatable part --2-- with a border line diametrically opposite the lifting platforms --3 and 4. in top view. In the area of the axis of rotation - 6 - is the

can, arranged. A carrying and support ring 16 that can be rotated with it is arranged around the rotatable part 2. Auxiliary beams --12-- can be attached to the support ring --16-- and the rotatable part-2, which serve to support temporarily attached floor elements --13-- that expand the stage area.
The advantages of the turntable according to the invention are as follows:
1. The revolving stage can be used to carry out a quick change of scene with new decorations, while at the same time play continues on sections of the stage floor that have not been set in motion during this change of scene. So z. B. with a stationary rotatable part - 2 - on which the foreground scene is built, by lowering the part - 3-, which is designed as a lifting platform, rotating the housing - l - and lifting the other designed as a lifting platform Part --4-- the background can be exchanged quickly.
2. When the scene is loaded with new decorations or stage structures, these can be raised and lowered to the edge of the by means of the parts 3 and 4 which can be raised and lowered
Revolving platform area and thus be brought close to the audience.
3. As a result of the presence of independent rotary drives, parts of the turntable play area can be used to create special movement effects, or for rapid
Change of position of decorations, rotated in opposite directions.
4. Large, differently designed pits can be created below the stage floor, the shape and position of which can be changed quickly as required in relation to the theater axis.
The invention can be applied not only to theatrical stage systems and other scenic devices, but can also be used for effective display of objects at trade fairs or exhibitions.
