Gepolstertes Sitzmöbel mit abnehmbaren Armlehnen
Bei gepolsterten Sitzmöbeln, deren Armlehnen abnehmbar angeordnet sind, ergibt sich das
Problem der Befestigung der Armlehnen an den Seitenzargen des Möbels. Um dieses Problem zu lösen, sind mehrere Konstruktionen bekanntgeworden, die jedoch alle den Nachteil aufweisen, dass die
Verbindung der Armlehne mit dem Sitzmöbel verhältnismässig kompliziert ausgebildet ist. Vor dem
Abnehmen der Armlehne muss in den meisten Fällen erst eine Verriegelung gelöst werden, die, da sie nicht sichtbar sein soll, nur schwer zugänglich ist. Ebenso ist das Anbringen der Armlehne an das
Sitzmöbel umständlich, da die Armlehnen erst in verhältnismässig komplizierte Führungen gebracht und dann dort verriegelt werden müssen.
Es ist weiters bekannt, mehrere Sitzmöbel zu einer Sitzbank od. dgl. zusammenzustellen. Dabei werden die einzelnen Sitzmöbel meist ohne Armlehnen ausgebildet, da diese Armlehnen beim
Zusammenstellen der Sitzbank stören. Verwendet man aber Sitzmöbel mit abnehmbaren Armlehnen, so ergeben sich wieder die oben erwähnten Schwierigkeiten. Die aus mehreren Sitzmöbeln gebildete
Sitzbank od. dgl. weist ausserdem meist den Nachteil auf, dass die einzelnen Sitzmöbel nicht in einfacher
Weise miteinander verbunden werden können und daher gegeneinander verschiebbar bleiben.
Die Erfindung stellt sich daher die Aufgabe, diese Mängel zu beseitigen, und ein gepolstertes
Sitzmöbel zu schaffen, das in einfacher Weise das Abnehmen seiner Armlehnen ermöglicht und bequem mit andern gleichartigen Sitzmöbeln zu einer stabilen Sitzbank zusammengefasst werden kann.
Ausgehend von einem gepolsterten Sitzmöbel mit abnehmbaren Armlehnen, das mit wenigstens einem gleichartigen Sitzmöbel zu einer Sitzband od. dgl. zusammensetzbar ist, wird die erfindungsgemässe Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, dass die jeweils aussen an einer Seitenzarge des Sitzmöbels anlegbaren Armlehnen an ihrer der Sitzfläche zugekehrten Seitenwand mindestens zwei den oberen
Rand der Seitenzarge hakenartig umfassende Beschläge trägt, und dass bei abgenommenen Armlehnen die benachbarten Seitenzargen zusammengestellter Sitzmöbel mit Hilfe an sich bekannter, U-förmiger, von oben über die Zargen steckbarer Klammern verbindbar sind. Durch die Beschläge und die der Sitzfläche zugekehrten Seitenwand der Armlehne wird also gewissermassen eine Führung gebildet, die die Seitenzarge des Sitzmöbels aufnimmt.
Es ergeben sich dabei keine besonderen Verriegelungen und die Armlehne kann in einfacher Weise abgenommen bzw. aufgesteckt werden. Die Gefahr, dass sich die Seitenlehne nach öfterem Abnehmen und Anstecken in ihrer Befestigung am Sitzmöbel lockert, ist gering, da dem vom Abstützen der Arme herrührenden, nach aussen gerichteten Druck durch das flächige Anliegen der Armlehne an der Seitenzarge ausreichend begegnet wird. Werden zwei oder mehrere Sitzmöbel nebeneinander gereiht, so dass eine Sitzbank od. dgl. entsteht, können die Sitzmöbel bequem durch die U-förmigen von oben über benachbarte Zargen steckbare Klammern miteinander fest verbunden werden.
In weiterer Ausbildung der Erfindung sind an der Innenseite der Seitenzargen den Seitenzargenoberrand umgreifende Schutzplatten im Abstand der Beschläge voneinander angeordnet, die je zwei mit ihren Köpfen vorstehende Befestigungsschrauben aufweisen, deren Abstand voneinander der Breite der Beschläge bzw. Klammern entspricht. Dadurch, dass die Köpfe der Befestigungsschrauben

vorstehen, wird mit einfachsten Mitteln eine Führung für die Beschläge bzw. Klammern gebildet, so dass ein seitliches Verschieben der Armlehne bzw. der Sitzmöbel gegeneinander unmöglich wird. Die Anordnung der Schutzplatten garantiert eine Schonung des Stoffes bzw. der Zargen des Sitzmöbels.
Eine Beschädigung durch die Beschläge bzw. dessen Klammern wird damit ausgeschlossen.
In den Zeichnungen ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dargestellt, u. zw. zeigen Fig. l eine perspektivische Ansicht einer Seitenzarge mit aufgesteckter Armlehne, wobei die Sitzpolster strichpunktiert angedeutet sind, und Fig. 2 die perspektivische Ansicht zweier benachbarter, zusammengeklammerter Seitenzargen von zwei aneinandergereihten Sitzmöbeln, deren Sitzpolster wieder strichpunktiert angedeutet sind.
