    798) that [1967], pp. 215 to 217) with a focal angle of about 250 good flame retardant effects.

Example 2: A poplin fabric (180 g / m2), consisting of 50% polyethylene glycol terephthalate and 50% cotton (twisted warp, weft as single yarn) that is dyed with indanthrene blue RK (Color Index No. 70000), is mixed with an aqueous solution of 180 g / l of the ammonium salt of bis-hydroxymethylphosphinic acid, as in Example 1, impregnated, squeezed off and dried. The result is a soft handle and good flame retardancy (7.5 cm burn-in length, burn angle about 270).

Equally good results are obtained with the same type of impregnation of a flannel (190 g / m2), which consists of 80% polyethylene glycol terephthalate and 20% viscose cellulose and is printed with indanthrene blue RK, and a decorative fabric in satin type (220 g / m2) Made of 67% polyethylene glycol terephthalate and 33% cotton.

Example 3: A knitted warp loom fabric (200 g / m2), consisting of 50% polyethylene glycol terephthalate and 50% cotton, is impregnated on the reel vat with an aqueous solution of 180 g / l of the ammonium salt of bis-hydroxymethylphosphinic acid at normal temperature. Then it is centrifuged to a weight increase of about 80% and dried at about 80.degree. The knitted fabric was soft to the touch and, with a burn-in length of about 8 cm and a burning angle of about 250, had good flame-retardant properties.
