Device for the magnetic control of valves
The invention relates to a device for magnetic control of valves in washing machines or the like.
The magnetic control of valves is known in various designs. It can be done both by electromagnets and by permanent magnets.
Known devices of this type with permanent magnets work in such a way that the magnet is arranged displaceably in the axial direction, i.e. in the direction of valve movement, and thus causes the valve to open and close (see, for example, German Auslegeschrift 1156616, Swiss patent specification No. . 409560). The valve housing is relatively high, which is particularly useful for modern, space-saving designs such. B. of washing machines has an unfavorable effect.
In contrast, the invention pursues the purpose of achieving the greatest possible space saving by means of flat valves.
The invention achieves these advantages in that the permanent magnet can be displaced normal to the direction of movement of the closure piece, whereby in its position above the closure piece it lifts it off the valve seat against the force of the spring.
These and further advantageous features of the invention are explained in more detail below with the aid of exemplary embodiments, without thereby exhausting the concept of the invention.
1, 2 and 3 show an embodiment for use in a valve with a rectangular housing which is very flat in the axial direction, while FIG. 4 illustrates a multiple valve. In the valve according to FIGS. 1 to 3, a substantially disk-shaped closure piece 20 is made
EMI1.1
the housing --11-- and pulls the locking piece --20-- against the force of the spring --13-- from the membrane. To close the valve, the permanent magnet --17-- is moved across the housing so that the influence of its magnetic field is less than the force of the spring - -13--.
In this design, several valves with a common inflow - 22 - and each with an outflow - 23, 24, 25, 26 - can be arranged one behind the other in one plane (Fig. 4) and by a common permanent magnet that can be displaced above them being controlled. Depending on the requirement, in addition to complete closure, flow through one valve after the other can be achieved.
In addition to the examples shown, numerous other possible applications are conceivable, depending on the requirements, without departing from the scope of the invention.
