unintentional touching of the handle does not change.
In a particularly preferred embodiment of the invention, the push-through slots arranged on the actuating handle are simultaneously designed as ventilation slots for the thermostat.
So you take on a second, very important function. This feature is particularly important when, as in the case of heating controls, the temperature of the medium flowing through the valve is to be regulated as a function of the air temperature in the room.
Another feature of the invention is that the operating handle has a rotatable, marked or cooperating insert with an insertion slot on its outer end face. The disc can be easily rotated with a coin or other suitable object, so that the scale can be readjusted quickly and easily.
Various exemplary embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawings. 1 shows a vertical longitudinal section through a valve according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a horizontal cross section along line II-II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a plan view of the insert on the top of the valve in FIGS. 6, 4 6 to 6 different embodiments of the upper end of the actuation button, FIG. 7 a vertical longitudinal section through another embodiment of the valve, FIG. 8 a section along the line VIII-VIII of FIG. 7.
The valve mainly consists of the valve housing --1--, the intermediate piece-2- and the operating handle --3--. The intermediate piece - 2 - and the housing - 1 - are connected via a thread pairing - 4 -, the housing having a nut thread and the intermediate piece having a bolt thread in the usual manner. In the same way, there is also a threaded connection - 5 - between the intermediate piece and the actuating handle, via which an axial

The latter acts in the opening sense on the valve plate --13-- and is supported with one end on the support surface --14-- of the intermediate piece and with the other end on a snap ring --15-- at the upper end of the spindle - 11 --from. The valve plate interacts with the valve seat --16-- in the usual way.

End-17-of the intermediate piece-2-intermediate piece blown up.
In the flange-like part --2-- of the intermediate piece, there is a grooved pin -23-, to which the lug --24-- made in one piece with the intermediate piece corresponds in Fig. 7. It interacts with a stop --25-- and forms a rotation limiter for the operating handle - 3--. The stop --25-- is formed by the inwardly guided, angled end of a clasp -27- penetrating one of the existing slots -26-. The latter also serves to make the thread connection --5-- stiff.
The slots --26-- of the operating handle also have the task of bringing the thermostat --28-- into connection with the outside air. The thermostat is inserted into an elastic, hollow cylindrical extension - 29 - of the operating handle provided with openings and is supported on its mouth edge --30-- against which it is pressed by the thermostat spring --31--. A detachable clip --32-- prevents the thermostat from being pushed out.
The outer end face 33 of the handle is completely covered in FIGS. 1, 6 and 7 and partially covered by an insert --34-- in FIGS. 4 and 5. This has both an adjustment scale - for adjusting the control temperature and an insertion slot --36-- for
