Die Reinigung und das Abreiben des Rückens in der Badewanne bereitet Schwierigkeiten, da namentlich bei älteren Leuten mit Behinderung der Armgelenke durch rheumatische Erkrankungen die Führung und der erforderliche Druck entsprechender Bürsten mit langen Stielen zu diesem Zweck zur gründlichen Frottierung nicht hinreichen.
Es wurde daher bereits vorgeschlagen, in eine Stirnwand der Badewanne Rückenreibflächen fallweise anzuordnen, gegen welche der Badende die erforderliche Rückenfrottierung durch Hin-und Herbewegung des Körpers und dadurch ausgeübte Reibung an der Reibfläche bewerkstelligen kann. Da hiebei wesentliche Schubkräfte auf die Reibfläche ausgeübt werden, muss diese fallweise ortsfest in der Badewanne befestigbar sein.
Bei den bisher bekannten Badewanneneinsätzen wurde dies entweder dadurch bewerkstelligt, dass Reibflächentragplatten mit Bordrändern über den Badewannenbord gestülpt werden oder diese Einsätze mit den bekannten pneumatischen Saugknöpfen fallweise an der Stirnwand der Badewanne angebracht werden. Die erwähnten einhängbaren Reibflächentragplatten sind jedoch nur für nicht eingebaute Wannen verwendbar oder bedürfen einer besonderen Ausbildung des Badewannenrandes, um die erforderliche Befestigung sicherzustellen.
Die Befestigung der Reibfläche mit den pneumatischen Saugknöpfen hält jedoch erfahrungsgemäss stärkeren Schubbeanspruchungen nicht stand, wobei ausserdem die Formgebung und Krümmung der Badewannenstimflächen bei den einzelnen Fabrikaten so verschieden ist, dass die Reibflächentragplatte der jeweiligen Badewannenform angepasst werden müsste.
Die Erfindung ist bestrebt, diese Nachteile zu vermeiden und besteht darin, dass in der Wand der Badewanne im wesentlichen lotrechte Nuten für den Einschub der Rückenreibflächenplatte vorgesehen sind. Durch diese Art der Befestigung ist einerseits die Einbringung bzw. Entfernung der Reibfläche durch Verschiebung derselben in den Badewannennuten leicht möglich und anderseits die Befestigung derselben so stabil, dass die Reibfläche jedweder Schubbeanspruchung während der Rückenreibung standhält. Insbesondere bei der in Zukunft zu gewärtigenden Herstellung der Badewannen aus plastischem Material kann diese Nutenanordnung bei der Fabrikation der Badewanne leicht berücksichtigt werden.
In den Zeichnungen ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, u. zw. zeigt Fig. 1 ein Schaubild der Badewanne und Fig. 2 einen horizontalen Schnitt durch die Stirnwand derselben.

The cleaning and rubbing of the back in the bathtub creates difficulties, especially for older people with handicaps in the arm joints due to rheumatic diseases, the guidance and the necessary pressure of appropriate brushes with long handles for this purpose are not sufficient for thorough toweling.
It has therefore already been proposed to arrange back friction surfaces in an end wall of the bathtub, against which the bather can bring about the necessary back rub by moving the body back and forth and thereby exerted friction on the friction surface. Since significant thrust forces are exerted on the friction surface, it must be able to be fixed in place in the bathtub.
In the case of the previously known bath tub inserts, this was accomplished either by placing friction surface support plates with board edges over the bath tub board or by attaching these inserts to the front wall of the bath tub with the known pneumatic suction cups. However, the above-mentioned hang-in friction surface support plates can only be used for tubs that are not built in or require a special design of the bathtub rim in order to ensure the required fastening.
However, experience has shown that the attachment of the friction surface with the pneumatic suction cups does not withstand greater thrust loads, and the shape and curvature of the bathtub face areas are so different in the individual brands that the friction surface support plate would have to be adapted to the respective bathtub shape.
The invention seeks to avoid these disadvantages and consists in the fact that essentially vertical grooves are provided in the wall of the bathtub for the insertion of the back friction surface plate. This type of fastening makes it easy to introduce or remove the friction surface by shifting it in the bathtub grooves, and on the other hand, it is so stable that the friction surface can withstand any shear stress during back friction. This groove arrangement can easily be taken into account in the manufacture of the bathtub, particularly in the future production of bathtubs from plastic material.
