kreuzes.

cross. When the centrifuge is rotated, any change in the center of gravity of the centrifugal drum T or other external influences will result in the hanging axis n tending to carry out circular vibrations or other deflections. Depending on the direction of the deflection, the cord c or cl pushed to the side by the hanging axis will transmit the smallest movement to the relatively long lever e, et and 'from this on the piston k.
The latter is counteracted by the tensioned spring m, which tries to give all these movements the opposite direction, whereby the hanging axis n is immediately returned to its vertical position.
Such a guidance of the hanging axis has the great advantage that the circular movement caused by the eccentric center of gravity of the drum when rotating the centrifuge, as well as sudden violent shocks of the drum axis can be completely compensated and this quickly calms down. The shorter distance traveled around the circumference of the drum while the drum axle is running smoothly, and the correspondingly reduced friction due to the lack of excessive tension on the cords, result in the milk spinner running smoothly.
In the exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing, the cross formed by the cords touches the drum axis at the circumference itself. Naturally, the arrangement can just as well be made so that the tensioned cords accommodate a multi-part bearing in which the drum axis is guided and through which the vibrations the drum axis has been transferred to the cords and thus to the spring. The mode of operation is exactly the same as with the device shown.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Device for guiding freely hanging drum axes of milk extractors by means of a crosshair, characterized in that the tension of the cords leading to the hanging axis is caused by spring pressure, for the purpose of automatically regulating the tension and reducing the friction in the guide and thereby a calm, always achieve easy gear.
