Die Düsen werden über einen   Schlauch -6-- mit   einem mit hoher Flammentemperatur brennenden Gas bzw. Gasgemisch beschickt. Das Gestell --3-- bzw. der   Brennersatz --4-- wird   in Grablängsrichtung bewegt, so dass die Düsen --5-- die Reste --2-- voll bestreichen und diese in Asche verwandeln, die im Schacht - l-verbleiben kann. An Stelle der   Düsen-5-könnten   auch seitliche zueinander gerichtete   Düsen --5a-- vorgesehen   werden.
