Verfahren zum Fixieren des Leimüberzuges von Wattefrüchten und anderen Körpern aus Watte mit Leimüberzug.
Bei der Herstellung von zu Ilutschmuck, Christbaumschmuck und anderer Dekorationszwecken dienenden Wattcfriichten verfuhr man bisher in der Weise, dass die mit farbigem Leim überzogenen Wattekörper, nachdem die Leimschicht mit glänzender Oberfläche aufgetrocknet war, in eine Kollodium-Ätherlösung eingetaucht wurden, um die wasserlösliche Leimschicht mit einem schützenden Überzüge zu versehen. Das genannte Mittel hat die Nachteile, dass es sehr teuer und sehr feuergefährlich ist. Aus der letztgenannten Eigenschaft ergebensicherschwerteFeuerversicherungsbedingungenundbesonderegewerbepolizeiliche Betriebsvorschriften.
Demgegenüber erfolgt nach vorliegender Erfindung das Fixieren der Leimscbicht mit einem völlig gefahrlosen und überaus billigen Mittel, nämlich mit Wasserglas. Das ge-

In the manufacture of cotton wool for decoration, Christmas tree decorations and other decorative purposes, the procedure so far was that the cotton bodies coated with colored glue, after the glue layer with a glossy surface had dried up, were immersed in a collodion ether solution to cover the water-soluble glue layer to provide a protective coating.
