Nimmt man z.

Nimmt man z.

Da
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

for this purpose the roller 2 of a lever which can be rotated by 3 on a curved iron 1 of the knife box. A second roller 7 of the mentioned lever engages under a lever 8 swinging around a bolt 15, which rests with its roller 9 against a planer 10 which can be rotated about point 11 on the machine frame 18 and rotates the latter to the right from the position according to FIG. when the knife box goes up. The rod p transmits this movement to one of the 12 respectively. 13 swinging arms o and 14, on which the plate grid 40 is suspended at ol. From this grate, connecting rods l lead to arms k on both sides of the machine. When the knife box goes down, one pushes

The sinker needles are not directly influenced by the sample card. Rather, use is made of a transmission medium of a suitable type. In the exemplary embodiment, this means consists of auxiliary needles c, such as are already known per se. They are usually arranged vertically displaceably in the machine frame and let the needle tips 23 protruding from the needle board g, which are respectively via a card cylinder. x laid out sample card, which is moved past step by step. Each of the
According to the present invention, auxiliary needles act on two or more sinker needles a in accordance with the repetition of the pattern contained in the card with noses f or the like, which is required in each case in the fabric width.
If you take z. If, for example, if the sinkers 20 are arranged in 60 rows next to one another, whereby they can be distributed over the entire width of the fabric and each move a chain thread, then there are of course just as many sinker needles a. If the latter are influenced by auxiliary needles c, each of which acts on two sinker needles as in the fifth group from the right (FIG. 2), the pattern contained in card d is transferred to the warp threads in a single repetition. However, if you choose a different interaction between auxiliary needles and sinker needles, e.g.
For example, in such a way that each auxiliary needle moves four sinker needles, correspondingly more are created in the tissue, namely four repetitions of the pattern inserted into the card. If you change the association between auxiliary needles and sinker

achieve the repetition of the pattern corresponding to the fabric width.
Of course, in a jacquard device, two or more groups of auxiliary needles connected in different ways to the sinker needles can also be arranged one behind the other. In the drawing, for. For example, suppose that the needle needles furthest to the right move a row of sinker needles a: in the next group, each needle lifts only six, in the following group only four, in the fourth group only three, in the fifth group only two and finally in the sixth group. as with the well-known Verdol jacquard machines, only one of the sinker needles in a row.
One or the other group of Milfsnadoln can then be used to adjust the sinker needles using an appropriate sample card.
However, several groups of auxiliary needles can also be used at the same time. The groups concerned are each provided with a cylinder 26 and a sample card. x and influences or supplements the recruitment of one group by the recruitment of the other. Through this! a. the pattern effect in the tissue can be increased in the most varied of ways. If you take z. B. suppose that for the odd shot the over the

Placed pattern karl, this creates interlocking patterns in the fabric.
If the selected needle mixes do not merge, a very rich pattern of the fabric can be achieved, which may not show any repetition in the fabric width, which cannot be achieved at all using a jacquard device in which the repetition of the card pattern is in Haruisch .
The group of auxiliary needles n 30, which is influenced by a second cylinder x with a pattern card, can also be directly connected to the free ends of the

EMI2.5
Sinker needles a already raised by the card cylinder remain and are therefore to be shifted, while other sinker needles, which were not influenced by the card cylinder 26, are to be brought into the raised position.
The sinker needles a are arranged in a number of rows, of which each individual row is under the action of both an auxiliary needle 30 and a lever 4-2. There
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
twelve sinker needles and sinkers are arranged in each transverse row, thus a twelve-fold repetition is possible. a twelve-fold repeat of a pattern in the weft direction is possible. The sinkers in the first row (FIG. 1) each represent the first thread of the twelve repeats, the number of threads resulting from the number of sinkers arranged next to one another.
When the lever 42 pushes the entire first row of the sinker needles n arranged one above the other forwards with the aid of the cylinder y, it causes all the first cases of the twelve repeats to rise. If, for example, there are 48 longitudinal rows of sinker needles, there must be just as many
EMI3.1
can be adjusted. For an eight-volume atlas z. D. the cylinder y would push the 1st, 9th, 17th etc. lever forward.
If, therefore, in the sample card monitored by the cylinder 26, for example, all of the points in question for the production of the reason are unbeaten, all the relevant sinkers would remain down regardless of the binding because they were not removed from the levers k or by means of the sinker needles a. the rails e are taken, as can be seen from the above, the entry of the basic binding respectively. the adjustment of the sinkers that are to be considered for the binding is nevertheless safe and expedient, namely with the aid of the sinker needles a by the lever 42.
The auxiliary needles 30, of which the same number as levers 42 are present, have the opposite effect, in that they keep those sinkers already intended for life by the sample card 26 from the associated knives, which are not used to achieve the binding points in the figure may be excavated, but should remain below. If the first shot z. B. for the plain weave the first lever ex 42 comes into effect, 80 the work with the auxiliary needles can only begin with the second or a further auxiliary needle, because those sinker needles a, on which a lift! 43 is not allowed to be acted upon by an auxiliary needle at the same time. (? be influenced.
In order to be able to fulfill the task assigned to them, the auxiliary needles 30 have as many driver noses as sinker needles a are arranged one above the other in a vertical row; when they hit a full point of the hard one they bring the front ends of the sinker needles of a vertical row in the raised position, so that this
