Einrichtung an stationären elektromagnetischen Maschinen, insbesondere Hochspannungstransformatoren

Installation on stationary electromagnetic machines, especially high-voltage transformers
It is well known that the behavior of the windings of stationary electromagnetic machines, especially transformers, in the event of voltage surges, i. i. in particular the initial distribution of the voltage and the free oscillations of the winding, through the use of devices for
Protection of the windings from surge voltages can be significantly improved. These are essentially a capacitance and a resistance of a suitable size which are connected in series and connected between the input or zero feedthrough of the winding and another point of the winding. In the case of the windings of regulating transformers, this is advantageously the free end of the regulating winding.
In the case of windings without branches, this device is switched on to protect the winding from surge voltages between the input bushing and the winding, which is usually 25-4090 of the total number of turns away from the latter.
Although the beneficial influence of such devices to protect the winding from surge voltages was proven theoretically and experimentally several years ago, their practical use in the construction of high-voltage transformers has not been too widely accepted. zw. In particular because of structural difficulties in the design of this device and when installing it in the transformer and the associated space requirements in the vessel.
The aim of the invention is to eliminate these disadvantages. In the case of a device on stationary electromagnetic machines, in particular high-voltage transformers, to protect the windings from surge voltages, consisting of a capacitor connected in series with a resistor, the resistor being formed by the semiconductor electrodes of the capacitor, according to the invention! 3 is achieved in that the capacitor is formed by two cylinders which are interrupted at the circumference and which run coaxially with the winding and each have a layer of semiconductor material, one of which is connected to the input terminal of the winding or its neutral terminal and the other to another point the winding is connected.
A device on transformers for protecting the windings from traveling waves is known from Swiss patent specification No. 174776, in which a series connection of a capacitor and a resistor, which resistance is formed by the semiconductor electrodes of the capacitor, is used. Otherwise, however, the solution known from this patent differs from the solution according to the invention both in terms of construction and circuitry. This known solution is already out of date, technologically difficult to manufacture and not very effective in its function.
A practical embodiment of the device according to the invention is shown in FIGS. 1-4 of the drawings. 1 shows the electrical connection of the device according to the invention to a winding of a control transformer in the form of a circuit diagram, FIG. 2 shows the structural arrangement of the device according to the invention, FIG. 3 shows a view of the winding in the direction of the axis
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
and FIG. 4 shows a section in the axial direction of the winding.
FIG. 1 shows the electrical connection of the device according to the invention to the control winding 5 at the input of the high-voltage winding 1. The series circuit 2 formed from the resistor and capacitor is connected between the input terminal 3 and the free end 4 of the control winding 5.
2 shows the structural arrangement of the device 2 according to the invention on a four-layer winding, in which in the edge layer 6 the control winding 5 is located at the inlet. The device 2 according to the invention switched according to FIG. H. Connected between the input terminal 3 and the free end 4 of the control winding 5, consists of the capacitor, which is formed by two cylinders 7, 8 interrupted on the circumference, which run coaxially with the winding 1 and from which the semiconductor electrodes 9, 10 of the capacitor formed resistance.
These semiconductor electrodes are formed by applying a layer of semiconductor material directly to the outer and inner surfaces of the two cylinders 7, 8. The version 11 from the
Electrode 9 is arranged on the upper edge of cylinder 7, the version 12 from electrode 10 is arranged on the lower edge of cylinder 8. The suitable size of the resistor connected in series with the capacitance and thus the correct function of the device according to the invention are achieved partly by choosing the density and thickness of the coating made of semiconductor material, partly by arranging the embodiments of the semiconductor electrodes at their opposite ends.
FIG. 3 shows a view in the direction of the winding axis of the winding 1, which is provided with a device 2 according to the invention. The versions 11, 12 of the semiconductor electrodes 9, 10 are located at the edges of the cylinders 7, 8, and the like, which are interrupted on the circumference. between the version 11 on the inner cylinder 7 to the right of the interruption and the version 12 on the outer cylinder 8 to the left of the interruption.
Fig. 4 shows a section in the axial direction of the winding 1. The embodiments 11, 12 from the electrodes 9, 10 are arranged on the opposite sides of the cylinder, u. between the version 11 on the inside of the inner cylinder 7 and the version 12 on the outside of the outer cylinder 8. Of course, various combinations of the basic designs mentioned are possible; so z. B. the version 11 at the upper right edge and the version 12 at the lower left edge od. to be ordered.
The solution according to the invention is simple, takes up relatively little space in the machine, is compact and its use does not cause any difficulties in the overall design of the machine. The essence of the invention is retained whether the electrodes 9, 10 bare or with a protective coating, e.g. B. be provided by painting or with an insulating layer 13.
