Kinderschutzdecke
Das Stammpatent Nr. 247545 betrifft eine Kinderschutzdecke, die mit Hilfe von Trägern am Oberkörper des Kindes anzubringen ist. Ein wesentliches Merkmal dieser Decke besteht darin, dass die Dekke an einem Miederteil zu befestigen ist, welches einen damit fest verbundenen Quergurt trägt, der an dem Kinderbett anzubringen ist.
Die Zusatzanmeldung betrifft eine weitere Ausbildung einer solchen Kinderbettdecke, die mit Hilfe von Trägern am Körper des Kindes anzubringen und an einem Miederteil oder Leibchen anknöpfbar ist, welches einen damit fest verbundenen Quergurt trägt, der am Kinderbett zu befestigen ist. Gemäss dieser weiteren Ausbildung trägt die ungeteilte Decke an ihrer Unterseite einen in der Längsrichtung angesteppten Stoffstreifen, der etwa in der Mitte, aber vorzugsweise ein wenig seitlich angebracht ist und mit Hilfe eines Reissverschlusses mit einem losen Streifen zu vereinigen ist. Dabei sind beide Streifen, sowohl der feste wie der lose, an das Leibchen anknöpfbar.
Der Reissverschluss hat seinen Teilungspunkt vorzugsweise am Kopfende der Decke, um es dem Kinde unmöglich zu machen, an das untere Verschlussende des Reissverschlusses heranzukommen und diesen dann unbeabsichtigt zu öffnen.
Der am Leibchen angebrachte Quergurt soll vorteilhaft am oberen Teil des Leibchens sitzen und etwa annähernd mit der Oberkante desselben abschneiden. Auf diese Weise wird eine allzu grosse Beweglichkeit des im Bett liegenden Kindes verhindert.
Die Decke selbst kann an der Oberkante mit einer Knöpfleiste zum Anknöpfen eines Überschlages oder eines Deckbettbezuges versehen sein. Ein solcher Überschlag kann bei Beschmutzung, etwa beim Füttern des Kindes, leicht ausgewechselt werden und schützt die Decke selbst an dem besonders beanspruchten Kopfende.
Am Fussende kann die Decke vorzugsweise einen unelastischen Quergurt aufweisen, der zum Befestigen des Fussendes der Decke am Bettgestell dient. Der Befestigungspunkt des Gurtes an der Decke selbst liegt zweckmässig nicht in der Deckenmitte, sondern ist etwas seitlich verschoben, um ein möglichst vollständiges Aufklappen der Decke beim Herausnehmen des Kindes aus dem Bett zu erleichtern.
In der Nähe ihrer Oberkante trägt die Decke in Querrichtung vorzugsweise elastische Gurtbänder, die mit abnehmbaren und verstellbaren Gurtschnallen besetzt sind. Entsprechende Gurtschnallen befinden sich auch an den sonstigen Befestigungsgurten der Decke. All diese mit Gurtschnallen besetzten Gurtenden können mit Hilfe von Wäschebandschlaufen, an denen sich Karabinerhaken befinden, leicht am Kinderbettgestell befestigt werden.
Die Zeichnungen veranschaulichen eine Ausführungsform der Erfindung, u. zw. zeigenFig. lden Miederteil von der Rückseite, Fig. 2 denselben von der Vorderseite, Fig. 3 ist ein etwas schematischer Schnitt durch die fertig zusammengeknöpfte Decke mit dem Miederteil, wobei die der Befestigung dienenden Teile der Deutlichkeit wegen nicht massstabsgerecht vergrössert sind, Fig. 4 zeigt die gesamte Decke von oben und Fig. 5 das gleiche von unten, also der Innenseite.
Der Miederteil 1 aus Baumwollstoff trägt die Tragbänder 2a, 2b, die am Rücken des Mieders

festgenäht und am Vorderteil mit Hilfe der Knopflöcher 6a, 6b an den Knopfleisten 5a, 5b an- knöpfbar sind. Um eine Grössenverstellung zu ermöglichen, sind daneben weitere Reserveknopfleisten auf der Vorderseite des Leibchens vorgesehen. Vorn ist das Leibchen offen, um ein ungehindertes Her- ausnehmen des Kindes zu ermöglichen.
Am Rückenteil des Leibchens ist, u. zw. zweckmässig in der Nähe der Oberkante, der Quergurt 3 bei 7 angenäht. Er besitzt vorteilhaft einen elastischen Mittelteil 8. Der Quergurt trägt an seinen beiden Enden 3a, 3b jedesmal eine Gurtschnalle 4a, 4b, die, wie später noch ausführlich be- schrieben, zur Befestigung des Gurtes am Kinderbettgestell dienen.
Die Decke 9 trägt etwa in der Mitte den angesteppten Längsstreifen 18, der mit Hilfe eines
Reissverschlusses 10 mit einem zweiten losen Längsstreifen 18a vereinigt werden kann. Der Reiss- verschluss ist mit Hilfe des Schiebers 19 von oben nach unten zu schliessen. Der lose Streifen 18a trägt eine Deckleiste, die den Reissverschluss vor der Berührung mit dem Kinde schützt. Die Streifen 18 und 18a sind mit ihren oberen Enden ebenfalls an die Knopfleisten Sa, 5b anknöpfbar, so dass hie- durch eine sichere Verbindung zwischen dem Leibchen und der Decke gewährleistet ist.
An ihrer Unterkante trägt die Decke 9 vorteilhaft den Quergurt 11, der bei 15 etwas ausser- halb der Mitte an der Decke angenäht ist. Der Quergurt 11 trägt an seinen Enden wieder verstellbare und abnehmbare Gurtschnallen 14a und 14b zur Befestigung am Kinderbettgestell, er kann ausserdem noch mit Klemmschnallen 23, 24 versehen sein, die zur Halterung eines zusätzlichen Deckbettes, falls erwünscht, dienen können.
In der Nähe der Oberkante der Decke 9 sind seitlich zwei vorzugsweise elastische Gurtbän- der 20, 21 bei 12a bzw. 12b angenäht, die ebenfalls verstellbare abnehmbare Gurtschnallen 13a,
13b tragen.
An der vorzugsweise geraden Oberkante trägt die Decke 9 eine Knopfleiste 22, die zur Befe- stigung eines Überschlags 17 dienen kann. Statt dessen kann auch ein Deckbettbezug oder eine wei- tere Wolldecke angeknöpft werden. Auf der Vorderseite der Decke kann zur Verzierung noch das herz- förmige Täschchen 16 angebracht sein.
Die Befestigung der Gurtschnallen 4a, 4b, 13a, 13b und 14a, 14b am Bettgestell erfolgt am einfachsten mit Hilfe von Wäschebandschlaufen 25a, 25b, die Karabinerhaken 26 tragen. Die
Bandschlaufen, die zu endlosen Ringen zusammengenäht sind, lassen sich leicht durch einfaches Herumschlingen am Kinderbettpfosten anbringen, sie sichern im übrigen eine gleichmässige Längeneinstellung an allen Befestigungspunkten.
Bei Gebrauch wird zunächst der Miederteil der Decke mit Hilfe des Gurtes 3 und der Gurtschnallen 4a, 4b bzw. der Wäschebandschlaufen 25a, 25b und der Karabinerhaken 26 in der Mitte des Bettgestells befestigt. Ebenso kann bereits der Quergurt 11 in gleicher Weise am Bettgestell angebracht werden. Die Decke lässt sich unvollständig seitlich aufklappen, so dass der Reissverschluss freiliegt und zum Hineinlegen des Kindes in das Mieder geöffnet werden kann. Nach dem Schliessen des Reissverschlusses werden auch noch die Gurtbänder 20,21 in der beschriebenen Weise am Bettgestell befestigt. Das Kind liegt nun sicher in seinem Bettchen, ohne dass seine Bewegungsfreiheit, insbesondere die Fähigkeit zu strampeln, übermässig behindert wird.
PATENTANSPRÜCHE :
1. Kinderschutzdecke nach Patent Nr. 247545, die mit Hilfe von Trägern am Körper des Kinder anzubringen und an einem Leibchen anknöpfbar ist, das einen damit fest verbundenen Quergurt trägt, der am Kinderbett zu befestigen ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die ungeteilte Decke (9) an ihrer Unterseite einen Stoffstreifen (18) trägt, der mit Hilfe eines Reissverschlusses (10) mit einem losen Streifen (18a) zu vereinigen ist, wobei beide Streifen (18, 18a) an die Knopfleisten (5a, 5b) an der Vorderseite des Leibchens (1) anknöpfbar sind.

Child protection blanket
The parent patent No. 247545 relates to a child protection blanket that is to be attached to the child's upper body with the help of straps. An essential feature of this blanket is that the blanket is to be attached to a bodice part, which carries a cross strap firmly connected to it, which is to be attached to the cot.
The additional application relates to a further development of such a cot cover, which can be attached to the child's body with the help of straps and can be buttoned to a bodice or camisole, which carries a transverse strap firmly connected to it, which is to be attached to the cot. According to this further embodiment, the undivided blanket has a strip of fabric quilted in the longitudinal direction on its underside, which is attached approximately in the middle, but preferably a little laterally and can be combined with a loose strip with the help of a zipper. Both strips, both the firm and the loose, can be buttoned onto the bodice.
The zipper has its dividing point preferably at the head end of the blanket in order to make it impossible for the child to get to the lower end of the zipper and then to open it unintentionally.
The cross strap attached to the camisole should advantageously sit on the upper part of the camisole and cut approximately with the upper edge of the same. In this way, excessive mobility of the child lying in bed is prevented.
The top of the blanket itself can be provided with a button strip for buttoning a flap or a duvet cover. Such a flap can easily be replaced when dirty, for example when feeding the child, and protects the blanket even at the head end that is particularly stressed.
At the foot end, the blanket can preferably have an inelastic transverse strap which is used to attach the foot end of the blanket to the bed frame. The fastening point of the belt on the blanket itself is usefully not in the middle of the blanket, but is shifted slightly to the side in order to make it easier to open the blanket as completely as possible when removing the child from the bed.
In the vicinity of its upper edge, the blanket preferably has elastic straps in the transverse direction, which are fitted with removable and adjustable belt buckles. Corresponding belt buckles are also located on the other fastening straps of the ceiling. All of these belt ends with belt buckles can easily be attached to the cot frame with the help of laundry belt loops with snap hooks.

are sewn and can be buttoned on the front part with the help of the buttonholes 6a, 6b on the button strips 5a, 5b. To enable the size to be adjusted, further reserve button strips are also provided on the front of the bodice. The bodice is open at the front so that the child can be removed unhindered.
On the back of the bodice is u. between practical near the upper edge, the cross belt 3 sewn at 7. It advantageously has an elastic middle part 8. The transverse belt has a belt buckle 4a, 4b each time at its two ends 3a, 3b, which, as will be described in detail later, serve to fasten the belt to the cot frame.
The cover 9 carries about in the middle of the quilted longitudinal strip 18, which with the help of a
Zipper 10 can be combined with a second loose longitudinal strip 18a. The zipper can be closed with the aid of the slide 19 from top to bottom. The loose strip 18a carries a cover strip that protects the zipper from contact with the child. The upper ends of the strips 18 and 18a can also be buttoned onto the button strips Sa, 5b, so that this ensures a secure connection between the bodice and the blanket.
At its lower edge, the blanket 9 advantageously carries the transverse strap 11, which is sewn to the blanket at 15 somewhat outside the center. The transverse belt 11 has adjustable and removable belt buckles 14a and 14b at its ends for attachment to the cot frame; it can also be provided with clamping buckles 23, 24 which can be used to hold an additional duvet, if desired.
In the vicinity of the upper edge of the blanket 9, two preferably elastic belt straps 20, 21 are sewn on at the sides at 12a and 12b, the also adjustable, removable belt buckles 13a,
13b wear.
On the preferably straight upper edge, the cover 9 has a button strip 22 which can be used to attach a rollover 17. Instead of this, a duvet cover or another wool blanket can be buttoned on. The heart-shaped pocket 16 can also be attached to the front of the blanket for decoration.
The fastening of the belt buckles 4a, 4b, 13a, 13b and 14a, 14b to the bed frame is most easily done with the aid of laundry tape loops 25a, 25b, which carry snap hooks 26. The
Ribbon loops that are sewn together to form endless rings can easily be attached to the cot post by simply looping them around; they also ensure an even length adjustment at all fastening points.
In use, the corset part of the blanket is first attached to the middle of the bed frame with the aid of the belt 3 and the belt buckles 4a, 4b or the laundry tape loops 25a, 25b and the snap hook 26. Likewise, the cross belt 11 can already be attached to the bed frame in the same way. The blanket cannot be opened completely to the side so that the zipper is exposed and can be opened to put the child in the bodice. After closing the zipper, the belt straps 20, 21 are also attached to the bed frame in the manner described. The child is now securely in its cot without its freedom of movement, especially its ability to kick, being excessively impaired.
