Elektrische Installationseinrichtung, insbesondere Sicherheitskupplung
Die Erfindung betrifft eine elektrische Installationseinrichtung, insbesondere Sicherheitskupplung aus Weichgummi mit Versteifungseinlage.
Die Erfindung will die bekannten Einrichtungen dieser Art weiter verbessern und erreicht dies im wesentlichen dadurch, dass an die Versteifungseinlage ein die Öffnung der Kupplung abschliessender Klappdeckel angelenkt ist. Der Klappdeckel lässt sich über einen Lappen an einen über die Kupplung seitlich hinausragenden Fortsatz durch Nieten, Einvulkanisieren od. dgl. befestigen, wobei der Fortsatz abgewinkelt ist oder in Richtung der Einlage liegen kann. Auch kann die Versteifungseinlage als Drehlagerfür den Deckel dienen und der Deckel aus unelastischem Material bestehen und durch eine Feder belastet sein, die auf der Schwenkachse des Deckels gelagert ist. Weitere Einzelheiten der Erfindung sind den Zeichnungen zu entnehmen.
Es sind ortsfeste Installationseinrichtungen mit dem Deckel und der Abdeckung angeformten Scharnierstücken oder an zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten der Abdeckung angelenkten Lappen bekannt.
Die Erfindung will Einrichtungen der eingangs erwähnten Art weiter verbessern und erreicht dies im wesentlichen dadurch, dass ein die Öffnung der Kupplung abschliessender Klappdeckel an einem die Kupplung seitlich überragenden Fortsatz der Versteifungseinlage angelenkt ist. Der Klappdeckel lässt sich am Fortsatz durch Nieten, Einvulkanisieren od. dgl. befestigen und durch einen angeformten Lappen mit der ringförmig ausgebildeten Versteifungseinlage verbinden. Die Versteifungseinlage weist mit Vorteil aus der Kupplung herausragende Abwinklungen und Versteifungslappen auf.
Die Zeichnungen zeigen mehrere von Ausführungsbeispielen für die Erfindung, u. zw. Fig. l einen erfindungsgemäss angelenkten Klappdeckel mit Kupplung im Schnitt und Fig. 2 einen anders an die Kupplung angelenkten Deckel im Schnitt, Fig. 3 eine weitere Anlenkung im Schnitt, Fig. 4 die Kupplung nach Fig. 3 teilweise geschnitten, Fig. 5 den Deckel nach Fig. 3 in Draufsicht und Fig. 6 die Kupplung nach Fig. 3 in Draufsicht.
In den Figuren sind lediglich die zum Verständnis der Erfindung nötigen Teile einer Sicherheitskupplung dargestellt mit einem Weichgummikörper 3 und einem eingelegten Versteifungsring 4, an dem ein Klappdeckel 5 angelenkt ist. Der Deckel 5 deckt mit seinem Randteil 7 dichtend den Körper 3 ab, solange der Stecker nicht in der Kupplung steckt.
Der Stecker ist nicht dargestellt und in der Kupplung durch zwei einander gegenüberliegende Nok- ken 8 geführt, die in eine Aufnahme 9 für den Stecker hineinragen. Der Versteifungsring 4 ist mit einem Fortsatz 10 versehen, der den Körper 3 überragt und in Fig. 1 zu diesem hin abgewinkelt ist und parallel mit einem Lappen 11 verläuft, der dem Deckel 5 in Verlängerung des Randteiles 7 angeformt ist.
In Fig. l und 2 besteht der Deckel 5 aus elastischem Material und ist am Fortsatz 10 durch einen Niet 6 befestigt. Der Randteil 7 umgreift den Körper 3 mit einer umlaufenden Lippe.
In Fig. 2 ist dem Deckel 5 ein bogenförmiger Lappen 12 angeformt und mit dem in Richtung des Ringes 4 liegenden Fortsatz 10 vernietet.

In Fig. 3-6 besteht der Deckel 5'aus unelastischem Material und ist um eine Achse 16 klappbar am Fortsatz 10'gelagert. Der Deckel 5 überragt den Körper 3 allseitig und bildet mit diesem eine grosse Dichtungsfläche. Der Fortsatz 10'ist beiderends zu Lagern 17 für die Achse 16 abgewinkelt und der Deckel 5 im Bereich der Lager mit einem Ansatz 18 und einer Ausnehmung 19 für eine Feder 20 versehen, die den Deckel schliessend belastet und auf der Achse 16 gelagert ist.
In den Figuren ist der Körper 3 mit einer Nut 22 versehen und in Fig. 6 in der Richtung versteift, in der der Stecker unverwechselbar eingeführt wird. In Fig. 6 ist dem Ring 4 im Bereich der Nut 22 je ein Lappen 21 rechtwinkelig abgebogen.
Wie bereits erwähnt, zeigen die Figuren lediglich beispielsweise Verwirklichungen der Erfindung und diese ist darauf nicht beschränkt ; vielmehr sind noch mancherlei andere Anwendungen und Ausführungen möglich. So kann der Deckel 5 auch anders ausgebildet sein und einen Dichtungsring bekannter Art tragen. Auch lassen sich die Lappen 21 bei Nuten 22 allgemein anwenden.

The invention relates to an electrical installation device, in particular a safety coupling made of soft rubber with a stiffening insert.
The invention aims to further improve the known devices of this type and achieves this essentially in that a hinged cover closing the opening of the coupling is articulated to the stiffening insert. The hinged cover can be attached to an extension protruding laterally beyond the coupling by riveting, vulcanizing or the like via a tab, the extension being angled or being able to lie in the direction of the insert. The stiffening insert can also serve as a pivot bearing for the cover and the cover can consist of inelastic material and be loaded by a spring which is mounted on the pivot axis of the cover. Further details of the invention can be found in the drawings.
Fixed installation devices with hinge pieces molded onto the cover and cover or tabs hinged on two opposite sides of the cover are known.
The invention aims to further improve devices of the type mentioned at the outset and achieves this essentially in that a hinged cover that closes the opening of the coupling is articulated to an extension of the stiffening insert which protrudes laterally over the coupling. The hinged cover can be fastened to the extension by riveting, vulcanizing or the like and connected to the ring-shaped reinforcing insert by an integrally formed tab. The stiffening insert advantageously has bends and stiffening tabs protruding from the coupling.
The drawings show several of exemplary embodiments for the invention, u. Between Fig. 1 a hinged hinged cover with coupling according to the invention in section and Fig. 2 a cover hinged differently to the coupling in section, Fig. 3 a further articulation in section, Fig. 4 the coupling according to Fig. 3 partially cut, Fig. 5 the cover according to FIG. 3 in plan view and FIG. 6 the coupling according to FIG. 3 in plan view.
In the figures, only the parts of a safety coupling necessary for understanding the invention are shown with a soft rubber body 3 and an inserted stiffening ring 4 on which a hinged cover 5 is hinged. The cover 5 with its edge part 7 covers the body 3 in a sealing manner as long as the plug is not inserted into the coupling.
The plug is not shown and is guided in the coupling by two opposing cams 8 which protrude into a receptacle 9 for the plug. The stiffening ring 4 is provided with an extension 10 which protrudes beyond the body 3 and is angled towards this in FIG. 1 and runs parallel to a tab 11 which is formed on the cover 5 as an extension of the edge part 7.
In FIGS. 1 and 2, the cover 5 is made of elastic material and is fastened to the extension 10 by a rivet 6. The edge part 7 engages around the body 3 with a circumferential lip.
In FIG. 2, an arcuate tab 12 is molded onto the cover 5 and riveted to the extension 10 located in the direction of the ring 4.

In Fig. 3-6, the cover 5 'consists of an inelastic material and is mounted on the extension 10' so that it can be folded about an axis 16. The cover 5 projects beyond the body 3 on all sides and forms with it a large sealing surface. The extension 10 ′ is angled at both ends to bearings 17 for the axis 16 and the cover 5 in the area of the bearings is provided with a shoulder 18 and a recess 19 for a spring 20 which loads the cover and is mounted on the axis 16.
In the figures, the body 3 is provided with a groove 22 and, in FIG. 6, stiffened in the direction in which the plug is unmistakably inserted. In Fig. 6 the ring 4 in the region of the groove 22 is each a tab 21 bent at right angles.
As already mentioned, the figures show only exemplary implementations of the invention and this is not restricted thereto; on the contrary, many other applications and designs are possible. Thus, the cover 5 can also be designed differently and can carry a sealing ring of a known type. The tabs 21 can also be used in general for grooves 22.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Electrical installation device, in particular a safety coupling, made of soft rubber with a stiffening insert, characterized in that the hinged cover (5) closing off the coupling (3) is hinged to an extension (10) of the stiffening insert (4) protruding laterally over the coupling.
