Zweilagiges Litzenspiralseil
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Two-layer stranded spiral rope
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The inventive design of a stranded spiral rope ensures that the inner strands can be held comparatively strong, which not only improves their resilience per se, but at the same time offers the possibility of using stronger wires for the inner strands, so that the strength wedge of the individual stranded element is also increased can. In addition, as already mentioned, the wires with a greater length are located in the thicker inner strands, so that the elasticity of the strand can be increased.
The individual features of the rope according to the invention have been known per se. This applies not only to the parallel lay method for the inner strands or to the omission of an actual rope core and the use of filler strands. The essence of the invention is to have found a particularly useful combination from a large number of possible technical features for wire ropes, which leads to a noticeable increase in the performance of such ropes, especially for stranded spiral ropes of parallel lay design, this performance in a very even absorption of the load and thus can be seen in an organic working method of the rope.
The invention is illustrated using examples in the drawing. 1-3 are each a schematic cross-section through a stranded spiral rope.
In Fig. 1, a rope of known construction is shown in parallel lay type. It can be seen that between the parallel lay strands 5 of the outer strand layer and a comparatively thick heart strand 6, a layer of inner strands 7 is arranged, each consisting of 1 + 6 wires. It is due to the structure of such a rope that the inner strands have a comparatively small diameter; this is a disadvantage because it is precisely in this area of the rope cross-section that high stresses can occur.
Fig. 2 illustrates a first embodiment of a stranded spiral rope according to the invention.
Here, between the outer strand layer 8, which consists of strands in parallel lay fashion, and a very thin heart strand 9, an inner strand layer 10 is inserted, the individual strands of which are also constructed in parallel lay, evident from a heart wire 11, an inner wire layer 12 'and a outer wire layer 13. As a result of the small diameter of the heart strand 9, a relatively large space remains in the interior of the rope, in which four strong inner strands 10 are accommodated.
A filler strand 18 is inserted between two outer strands 14, 15 and two inner strands 16, 17.
The further embodiment of the invention, which is shown in Fig. 3, shows a rope without a core strand. Inside the outer strands there are strong inner strands 19 which, like the outer strands, are made in parallel lay fashion and supplemented by filler strands 20. When the rope is used, a relatively large metallic cross-section is used to take up the load.
