Anschlussklemme für elektrische Messinstrumente
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Anschlussklemme für elektrische Messinstrumente, bestehend aus einem Gewindebolzen, dessen Schaft einen aus Isoliermaterial bestehenden Sockel durchsetzt und zwecks Aufnahme des blanken Endes des Anschlusskabels fallweise mit einer durchgehenden Querbohrung versehen ist, sowie einer aus Isolierstoff bestehenden Klemmutter.
Bei diesen Klemmen kann durch geringe Sorgfalt beim Anschluss des Kabels dieses zu weit in die Klemme eingeschoben werden, so dass sein blankes Ende auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite aus der Klemme herausragt. Bei Mehrfachmessinstrumenten, bei denen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft der Anschlussklemmen der Drehschalter zum Umstellen des Messinstrumentes von einem auf einen andern Messbereich angeordnet ist, kann die die Umstellung durchführende Person bei geringer Achtsamkeit mit den den Drehschalter betätigenden Fingern das aus derAnschlussklemme herausragende blanke Ende des Anschlusskabels berühren und dadurch in den Stromkreis geraten.
Um dies zu verhindern, enthält erfindungsgemäss der Sockel auf der der Kabeleinführung entgegengesetzten Seite einen nach oben ragenden, das Kabelende mit seinem bogenförmig ausgebildeten Innenrand gegen Berührung abschirmenden Fortsatz.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel der erfindungsgemässen Sicherheitsklemme bei einem Messinstrument dargestellt. Es zeigen Fig. l einen Teil eines Messinstrumentes mit zwei Anschlussklemmen und einem Drehschalter in schaubildlicher Darstellung und Fig. 2 einen Axialschnitt durch eine der in der Gehäuseplatte befestigten Anschlussklemmen.
Mit 1 ist das Instrumentengehäuse bezeichnet, auf dem zwei Anschlussklemmen 2 und ein zur Umstellung des Messinstrumentes von einem auf einen andern Messbereich dienender Drehschalter 3 angebracht sind. Jede der Anschlussklemmen besteht aus einer elektrisch leitenden Schraube 4 und einem auf ihr aufgeschraubten Kopf 5 aus Isolierstoff. Die Schraube 4 ist mit einer Querbohrung versehen und in einem elektrisch nichtleitenden Sockel 6 gebettet, der in die Wand 7 des Gehäuses 1 eingesetzt ist. Der Sockel 6 ist mit einem nach oben ragenden Fortsatz 8 versehen, welcher die Anschlussstelle der Schraube 4 gegen den Drehschalter 3 hin abschirmt.
Das Anschlusskabel 9, welches mit seinem blanken Ende in die Bohrung der Schraube 4 eingeschoben wird, kann lediglich bis zum Anschlag am Vorsprung 8 vordringen. Dieser schützt damit die den Drehschalter 3 bedienende Person vor Berührung mit dem blanken Teil des stromführenden Kabels.

The invention relates to a connection terminal for electrical measuring instruments, consisting of a threaded bolt, the shank of which penetrates a base made of insulating material and, in some cases, is provided with a continuous transverse bore to accommodate the bare end of the connection cable, and a clamping nut made of insulating material.
With these terminals, if you take little care when connecting the cable, it can be pushed too far into the terminal so that its bare end protrudes from the terminal on the opposite side. In the case of multiple measuring instruments in which the rotary switch for switching the measuring instrument from one to another measuring range is arranged in the immediate vicinity of the connection terminals, the person performing the changeover can, with little care, touch the bare end of the connection cable protruding from the connection terminal with the fingers operating the rotary switch and thereby getting into the circuit.
In order to prevent this, according to the invention, on the side opposite the cable entry, the base has an upwardly projecting extension which shields the cable end with its curved inner edge against contact.
The drawing shows an exemplary embodiment of the safety clamp according to the invention for a measuring instrument. FIG. 1 shows part of a measuring instrument with two connection terminals and a rotary switch in a diagrammatic representation, and FIG. 2 shows an axial section through one of the connection terminals fastened in the housing plate.
1 designates the instrument housing, on which two connection terminals 2 and a rotary switch 3 serving to switch the measuring instrument from one to another measuring range are attached. Each of the connection terminals consists of an electrically conductive screw 4 and a head 5 made of insulating material that is screwed onto it. The screw 4 is provided with a transverse bore and embedded in an electrically non-conductive base 6, which is inserted into the wall 7 of the housing 1. The base 6 is provided with an upwardly protruding extension 8 which shields the connection point of the screw 4 from the rotary switch 3.
The connecting cable 9, which is inserted with its bare end into the bore of the screw 4, can only penetrate as far as the stop on the projection 8. This protects the person operating the rotary switch 3 from contact with the bare part of the live cable.
