Vertically swiveling draw hook coupling for tractors
The invention relates to a vertically pivotable draw hook coupling for tractors, in particular for
Hitching up trailer vehicles driven by the tractor's PTO shaft.
There are already articulated on the underside of the tractor, vertically pivotable draw hook couplings known which are connected to the power lift of the tractor via lifting struts and through this after
Attaching the towing eye of the trailer vehicle can be raised into the transport position. Through under
The hook rod is locked in the transport position by spring-loaded, pivotable hooks. Before lowering the drawbar when attaching the trailer, the lock is released by the tractor operator. With this arrangement, one-man operation could be carried out.
The disadvantage here is that the draw hook is almost under the rear front edge of the
Tractor, so it cannot be seen from the driver's seat. This position of the draw hook is also disadvantageous in other respects. If a vehicle is to be coupled that is driven by the PTO shaft of the tractor with a cardan shaft, the articulation point of the trailer vehicle, i.e. the towing hook, must be located approximately in the middle of the joints on both sides of the cardan shaft, otherwise the transfer of the rotary movement when cornering is difficult will or is not possible.
If you only wanted to move the known vertically pivotable draw hook arrangements further back or lengthen the drawbar backwards, extremely unfavorable kinematic conditions would result when lifting the drawbar, since the power lift cannot be shifted with it and therefore the lifting struts leading to the power lift in the lowered drawbar attack the drawbar at a very acute angle.
The object of the invention is to create a draw hook coupling which ensures that the trailer can be coupled by one person from the driver's seat and also enables favorable lifting kinematics when the draw hook protrudes far to the rear.
According to the invention, this is achieved in that the drawbar, articulated in a known manner on the underside of the tractor, forms an articulated triangle with a lifting arm and an imaginary connection of the fixed articulation points on the tractor, the movable articulation point of which is formed by a sleeve that is axially slidingly mounted on the drawbar is, on which in addition to the lifting legs the lifting struts connected to the power lift are articulated. The fixed articulation points of the draw hook rod and the lifting arm are arranged behind the vertical plane of the rear axle on the underside of the tractor or on the rear face of the gear block, as seen in the direction of travel. The drawbar is mounted on an axle which is identical to the mounting of the lower links of the three-point hitch.
In the sliding sleeve, spring-loaded bolts are arranged perpendicular to the draw hook rod, which protrude in the raised position into corresponding bores in the draw hook rod and can advantageously be withdrawn from the driver's seat by means of a Bowden cable against the spring pressure.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described in more detail with reference to the drawings. Mark in it. 1 shows the side view of a tractor in section, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the same object and FIG. 3 shows a sliding sleeve with locking bolt, shown in section.

A power lift 2 is attached to the transmission block 1; Below and behind the rear axle center line 3 there are brackets 4 for the axle 5, which is used to mount the bushings 7 to which the tie rod 6 is connected. Consoles 8 for mounting the lifting legs 9 are attached to the rear wall of the transmission block 1. A sliding sleeve 10 is pushed onto the pull rod 6 and has lateral pin guides 11 on which the lifting legs 9 and a lifting rod 12 are accommodated. In the holes of the
Bolt guides 11 of the sliding sleeve 10 are bolts 13; a pressure is exerted on them by springs 14. At the other end of the pull rod 6, a pull hook 15 is attached.
The method of operation of the draw hook coupling according to the invention is as follows: In order to be able to couple a trailer vehicle, the drawbar 6 must be brought into the lowered position. For this purpose, the bolts 13 are first withdrawn from the driver's seat and locked in this position. Then the pull rod 6 can be lowered by the power lift 2 via the lifting rod 12, the sliding sleeve
10 is pushed forward on the pull rod 6. Then the tractor is driven back until the draw hook comes to stand under the drawbar eye. Now the pull rod is by means of the power lift 2
6 lifted into the working position and the bolts 13 of the sliding sleeve 10 released from the lock. When lifting, the tow hook 15 engages in the towing eye of the trailer vehicle and also lifts it.
The sliding sleeve 10 is pushed backwards until the bolts 13 snap into the corresponding bores of the pull rod 6 due to the pressure of the springs 14 and thus lock them. The entire coupling process is thus triggered by one person from the driver's seat, with both locking and unlocking of the coupling taking place.
