   Die Erfindung betrifft ein bandförmiges   Befestigungs- oder Verschlussmittel   aus Kunststoff, Kautschuk od. dgl., das dadurch in Form einer Schlaufe um einen Gegenstand festspannbar ist, dass der eine Endteil des Bandes durch eine in einer Verbreiterung am andern Ende angeordnete Öffnung gezogen wird und die die Öffnung aufnehmende Verbreiterung am einen Ende des Bandes auf einer Seite senkrecht zurBandfläche verdickt und mehr als doppelt so stark wie das Band ist und in ihr als Öffnung für das Durchziehen des Bandes eine in Längsrichtung des Bandes laufende,   T-förmige,   nach oben offene Nut angeordnet ist, deren querliegender Querschnittsteil dem Bandquerschnitt entspricht und deren Öffnung schmäler als das Band ist, nach Patent Nr. 221017. 



   Gegenstand des Stammpatentes ist ein Verschlussmittel der angeführten Art, das mit wenigen Handgriffen an dem zu verschliessenden Gegenstand angebracht und dessen Verschluss lediglich durch einen Zug an dem freien Bandende geöffnet werden kann. 



   Bei einem bekannten Verschlussmittel ist im Verschlusskopf eine Öse vorgesehen, deren untere Wand konisch ausgebildet ist. In einiger Entfernung vom andern Bandende wird das Band um 1800 umgeschlagen und mit der dadurch gebildeten Spitze in die Öse eingeführt. Bei   dieser Ausführung   muss die Bandlänge des Verschlussmittels dem Umfang des zu verschliessenden Sackendes weitgehend angepasst sein, denn die das Sackende umfassende Schlinge hat in der Verschlussstellung einen ganz bestimmten Durchmesser. Das Verschlussmittel ist also jeweils nur zum Verschluss ganz bestimmter   Packungsgrössen   verwendbar. Am umgefalteten Ende können keine grösseren Kräfte aufgebracht werden, da der schmale Streifen ohne jegliche Verbreiterung einen   schlechten Angriffspunkt für die Finger bietet.

   Dac Öffnen des   Verschlusses ist insbesondere dann schwierig, wenn eine als Widerhaken vorgesehene Nase angeordnet ist. Bei einer weiteren bekannten Ausführungsform trägt das Vcrschlussband auf der dem Verschlusskopf abgewandten Seite Längsrippen, die in entsprechende, auf der Unterseite der Öse im Verschlusskopf angebrachte Ausnehmungen eingeschoben werden können. Diese Vorrichtung gewährt keinen sicheren Verschluss, da als Haltekraft nur Reibungskräfte auftreten. 



   Der Erfindung liegt nunmehr die Aufgabe zugrunde, ein Verschlussmittel zu schaffen, das in einem grösseren Bereich zum Verschliessen verschiedener Gegenstände mit   verschiedcn grossen Durchmessern ge-   eignet ist, einen gegen ungewolltes Öffnen unbedingt sicheren Verschluss abgibt und sehr leicht bei beabsichtigtem Öffnen gelöst werden kann. 



   Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe sieht die Erfindung ein Verschlussmittel vor, das sich von den bekannten Verschlussmitteln dadurch unterscheidet, dass das eine Bandende durch eine in einem Verschlusskopf am andern Bandende angeordnete längsgeschlitzte Öffnung gezogen wird und dessen Verschlusskopf zum Öffnen der Schlinge entlang des Längsschlitzes aufspreizbar ist. Dies bedeutet, dass das einmal in die Öffnung   eingeführte Band   nicht mehr zurückgezogen werden kann, sondern nach oben herausgerissen wird, wobei sich die Backen der schlitzförmigen Öffnung auseinanderspreizen.

   Die Erfindung ist insbesondere dadurch charakterisiert, dass das Band auf der der als Verschlusskopf dienenden Verbreiterung abgewandten Seite in an sich bekannter Weise mit einer quer zur Bandrichtung gerichteten Zahnreihe versehen ist, die im Gebrauchszustand mit einer weiteren, auf dem Boden der in dem Verschlusskopf vorgesehenen Nut an-
