Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

  Rollenlager,

 EMI1.1
   und dahor auch aller Rollen gesichert erscheint.

  Roller bearings,
In the roller bearings known up to now, attempts are made to prevent the rollers from sliding on one another by a frame in which the ends of the rollers are mounted or by balls placed between the rollers. In the previous version, however, these means are not suitable for reducing the sliding friction in the bearing to a minimum, much less for eliminating it completely.

   The subject matter of the present invention is a bearing arrangement by means of which the occurrence of sliding friction is prevented and therefore an extremely easy gear is achieved.

   1 and 2 of the drawing show in two mutually perpendicular sections an embodiment of the roller bearing according to the invention. The rollers 1 are provided with recesses or grooves. A ball 2 runs in each of the grooves of two rollers, the diameter of which is greater than the distance between the groove bases of two rollers, measured in the plane defined by the axes of rotation of the two rollers concerned. The balls 2 are supported against a freely rotatable ring R surrounding them, or run in recesses of the same. As can be seen from the direction of the arrows in the drawing, the direction of rotation of the shaft and the rollers, hence also the ring,
 EMI1.1
   and therefore all roles appear secure.
