 Rand der Ziegel ist den   Alulden   b entsprechend bogenförmig ausgeschnitten. 



   Heim richtigen Aneinanderreihen der Ziegel bilden sich längs des ganzen Daches aus den Mulden kontinuierlich fortlaufende Abflussrinnen für das Regenwasser, ohne dass das Wasser zwischen den Fugen durchsickert, weil es aus einer Mulde nicht in die daneben   liegende überfliessen   kann. Das Verbinden der Ziegel untereinander durch MÖrtel oder ein Unterlegen der Fugen ist   überflüssig   und das direkt in eine Fuge einregnende Wasser gelangt von der glatten Fläche des darunter liegenden Ziegels in dessen Rinnen. 



   Die Ausschnitte am unteren Rande des Ziegels verhindern ein seitliches Austreten und   Überniessen des horabniessenden   Wassers beim Übergang von einem Dachziegel zum

   When the tiles are correctly lined up, the troughs form continuously running drainage channels for the rainwater along the entire roof, without the water seeping through between the joints because it cannot overflow from one trough into the adjacent one. There is no need to connect the bricks to each other with mortar or underlay the joints and the water that rains directly into a joint gets from the smooth surface of the underlying brick into its gutters.
