Die Erfindung betrifft eine Lager- und Transportverpackung aus Pappe, Kunststoff od. dgl. Materialien für Möbel mit einer Umhüllung und einem das Gewicht des Möbels aufnehmenden Einsatzteil.
Es ist bekannt, Möbel für die Lagerung und insbesondere für den Transport zu verpacken, um sie gegen Beschädigungen zu schützen. Die Verpackung soll genügenden Schutz gewähren, aber doch verhältnismässig leicht und auch billig und einfach herstellbar sein. Vor allem beim Transport sind sperrig abstehende Teile von Möbeln, vor allem die Füsse gefährdet, da diese Teile leicht abbrechen können. Ausserdem beschädigen diese Teile oft die Verpackung, insbesondere wenn das Gewicht des Möbels auf ihnen ruht.
Zum Schutz abstehender Möbelteile haben auch schon Einsatzteile Verwendung gefunden. Bei den bisher bekanntgewordenen derartigen Einrichtungen sind die Einsatzteile aus einem andern Material als dem Verpackungsmaterial, vorzugsweise aus Holz vorgesehen und starr in der Verpackung angeordnet.
Diese Bauweise hat den Nachteil, da : ; bei heftigen seitlichen Stössen, wie sie beim Verladen und beim Transport vorkommen können, die durch den starren Einsatzteil festgehaltenen Möbelteile, insbesondere die Füsse beschädigt oder gelockert werden oder sogar abbrechen, wenn infolge seitlicher Stösse das Möbel innerhalb der Verpackung verschoben wird, die festgehaltenen Füsse aber dieser Bewegung nicht zu folgen vermögen.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, den abstehenden Möbelteilen einen besonderen Schutz zu vermitteln und diese Teile von einer Belastung freizuhalten. Dies wird erfindungsgemäss dadurch erreicht, dass der aus gleichem Material wie die Umhüllung bestehende Einsatzteil in der Verpackung lose auf deren Boden aufruht. Es sind so abstehende Möbelteile, wie z. B. die Füsse. besonders geschützt. Bei seitlichen Stössen kann sich das Möbel ohne Beanspruchung abstehender Teile seitlich verschieben, da sich der Einsatzteil mit dem Möbel relativ zur Verpackung bewegen kann. Dadurch, dass die abstehenden Teile unbelastet sind und die Verpackung nicht berühren, kann auch die Verpackung bei derartigen Bewegungen nicht beschädigt werden.
Ausserdem ist durch den Einsatzteil auch das Gewicht des Möbels gleichmässig auf dem ganzen Boden der Verpackung verteilt. Nach einem weiteren Kennzeichen der Erfindung ist der Einsatzteil einstückig ausgebildet und weist Einsteckanordnungen für abstehende Teile des Möbels auf. Der Einsatzteil umfasst vorteilhafterweise einen Materialstreifen, dessen Breite grösser ist als die Höhe der Möbelfüsse, wobei aus dem Materialstreifen als Einsteckanordnung für jeden Möbelfuss eine Schleife gebildet ist, derart, dass das Gewicht des Möbels auf dem Einsatzteil ruht. Erfindungsgemäss ist ferner vorgesehen, innerhalb der Verpackung Fixierungen für das Möbel anzuordnen. Diese Fixierungen können durch Querstreifen gegeben sein, die zwischen zwei gegenüberliegenden Wänden der Verpackung angeordnet sind.
Die Erfindung wird nachstehend an Hand der beiliegenden Zeichnungen beispielsweise erläutert. Dar- in zeigt Fig. 1 die Verpackung in ausgebreitetem Zustand als Netz. Fig. 2 ist ein Schnitt durch die zusammengefaltete Verpackung nach der Linie II-II der Fig. 1 in vergrössertem Massstab, wobei ein Möbel-

Diese Umhüllung ist in den dargestellten Ausführungsbeispielen einstückig ausgebildet. Selbstverständlich kann sie auch aus zwei Teilen bestehen, indem beispielsweise der Deckelteil als besonderer Teil vorgesehen ist. Die Umhüllung besteht aus einem Boden 2, an dem zwei aufklappbare Seitenteile 3,4 und

eine aufklappbare Vorderwand 5 sowie eine aufklappbare Rückwand 6 vorgesehen sind. An der Vorderwand
5 und an der Rückwand 6 sind je zwei Flügel 7,8 bzw. 9,10 angeordnet, die die Seitenwände der Ver- packung bilden. An der Vorderwand oder an der Rückwand kann der Deckelteil 11, 12,13 der Verpackung angeordnet sein. Der Deckelteil ist mit Ansätzen 14 versehen, mit deren Hilfe er mit den anschliessen- den Wänden 6 - 10 beispielsweise mittels Heftklammern 20 verbunden werden kann.
Die Ausmasse der einzelnen Teile der Umhüllung richten sich nach den Massen des zu verpackenden
Möbels. Soll beispielsweise ein Sessel 17 verpackt werden, dann müssen die Rückwand 6 und die an sie anschliessenden Teile der Seitenwände 9,10 höher sein als die Vorderwand 5 und die an sie anschliessen- den Seitenwandteile 7,8, um entsprechenden Platz für die Lehne des Sessels 17 zu gewinnen. Der Dekkelteil 11, 12,13 ist dann dreiteilig ausgebildet, wobei der erste Teil 13 und der zweite Teil 11 zusammen der Breite des Bodens 2 entsprechen, wohingegen der Mittelteil 12 so gross ist wie der Höhenunter- schied zwischen Vorderwand 5 und Rückwand 6. Gegebenenfalls kann der Deckelteil auct geteilt ausge- führt sein, derart, dass beispielsweise der Teil 13 an der Rückwand 6 und die Teile 11 und 12 an der Vorderwand 5 angeordnet sind.
Um das Ausmass des Verschnittes zu verringern, kann der Deckelteil 11, 12, 13 auch als besonderer Teil vorgesehen sein, so dass die Umhüllung aus zwei Teilen besteht.
Zu der Verpackung gehört ferner der Einsatzteil 15, dieser besteht vorzugsweise aus einem Materialstreifen und weist Einsteckanordnungen 16 für die Möbelfüsse 18 auf, die beispielsweise durch Schlaufen des Materialstreifens gebildet sind. Um dieFüsse 18 entsprechend zu schützen, und auch um Beschädigungen der Verpackung vor allem des Bodens 2 durch die Füsse 18 zu verhindern, ist die Breite des Einsatzteiles 15 grösser als die Höhe der Füsse 18 des Möbels. Das Gewicht des Möbels ruht dann nicht auf den Füssen 18, sondern zur Gänze auf dem Einsatzteil 15.
Für die Aufnahme der Möbelfüsse 18 muss der Einsatzteil 15 nicht unbedingt Schlaufen aufweisen, er kann auch mit Laschen, Einschnitten oder Ausnehmungen versehen sein, in die die Möbelfüsse in entsprechender Weise eingesetzt werden. Um zu verhin- dem, dass sich das Möbel in der Verpackung allzu ungehindert bewegen kann, sind innerhalb der Verpackung Fixierungen vorgesehen. Diese Fixierungen bestehen beispielsweise aus einem Materialstreifen 19, der vorzugsweise über eine obere Fläche des Möbels geführt und an den beiden Seitenteilen 3,4 mittels Heftklammern 20 befestigt ist.
Zur Herstellung der erfindungsgemässen Verpackung wird aus einer Materialbahn beispielsweise aus einer beidseitig gedeckten Wellpappe die Umhüllung, die den Boden, die Seitenteile, die Wände und den Deckel umfasst, einstückig ausgeschnitten. Die Begrenzungen zwischen den einzelnen Teilen der Umhüllung werden teilweise geschnitten und teilweise gerillt oder geritzt. Aus dem gleichen oder einem ähnlichen Material wird der Einsatzteil geschnitten und an ihm beispielsweise durch Heftklammern Einsatzanordnungen in Form von Schlaufen gebildet.
Die Füsse des Möbels werden in die Einsatzanordnullg gesteckt und das Möbel sodann aut den Boden der Verpackung gestellt. Hierauf werden die Seitenteile hochgeklappt und mittels eines über eine obere Seite des Möbels geführten als Fixierung dienenden Materialstreifens verbunden. Als Fixierung kann beispielsweise ein Hartpappestreifen dienen, der an den Seitenteilen mittels Heftklammern befestigt ist. Hierauf werden die Vorder- und die Rückwand hochgeklappt und sodann die die Seitenwände bildenden Flügel nach innen gebogen und an ihren aneinanderstossenden Kanten durch Klebestreifen festgehalten.
Sodann wird schliesslich der Deckel darübergeklappt und seine Verbindungsansätze mit den entsprechenden Wänden mittels Heftklammern verbunden. Das Möbel ist sodann lager-oder versandbereit.
Die Erfindung ist auf die beschriebenen Ausführungsbeispiele nicht beschränkt. Die Fixierungen können beispielsweise auch durch Verbindungen zwischen den Seitenwänden gebildet werden oder es kann am Deckel ein entsprechender nach innen gerichteter Ansatz vorgesehen sein. Ferner kann der Einsatzteil aus einem quaderförmigen Hohlteil oder einem an zwei Seiten nach abwärts abgebogenen Materialteil oder auch aus zwei getrennten Streifen gebildet sein, wobei diese Teile jeweils mit entsprechenden Löchern für die Füsse versehen sind. Die Befestigung der Verbindungsansätze an den Wänden bzw. die Verbindung der Seitenteile mit der Fixierung kann auch auf andere Weise wie z. B. durch Kleben erfolgen.
