Equipment at the checkout counter for printing the receipt and control section of two-part sales slips.
EMI1.1
The subject matter of the present invention is a printing unit for check registers for printing the receipt and control sections of two-part sales slips with the same notations, such as B. Amount received, number of the seller, consecutive note number, complete date and other information. Any subsequent counterfeiting of the sales slips is thus prevented.
The subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawings. Fig. 1 shows a side view of the printing device, Fig. 2 is a plan view of Figs. 1, Figs. 3 and 4 are

causes.
On the table a there is a thin plate e, corresponding to the dimensions of the sales slips to be received, which is cut out on its sides so that it leaves uncovered the elastic parts f and g, which are involved in printing, in all positions in relation to the printing table in front of it. At the front, this plate l is provided with another recess that allows the bill to be placed and removed

seated lever 1 '. The shaft s is driven at a suitable time. With a second link t the table a is also lifted! connected, which swings on the axis bearing the printing disks l and carries a resilient roller eo, which is used to apply the printing ink.
Finally, a third link connects the table a

the numbering and dating device, as well as a rod e1, which is connected to the numbering device and serves to effect the progression of the consecutive numbers. A third rod f1 (FIGS. 2 and 3) is provided between the rods and and k of the plate e, the end of which is guided in the hollow axis b of the table a. This rod bumps temporarily against the pendulum mounted on the bracket c, with the

rod kl a.
The rotatable engaging lever il, which appears in plan in FIGS. 2 and 10, is designed at one point to form a fork, the prongs of which comprise an engaging disk which, depending on the position into which it is transferred by the fork, the

The spring acts constantly on the rod "1, which consequently always tries to pass into the latching or rest position (FIG. 3). The table a also carries a fixed rod" 111,

The new device works as follows: Each sales slip filled out by a salesperson is placed on the plate e in the manner indicated. in such a way that the control section engages under the clamp i. The seller then moves plate e in the direction of arrow a while compressing springs M, M? (Fig. 2, 3 and 4) until the same is latched by the hooks o, o (Fig. 7). In this position, the control section is below the pressure rollers f. During this movement, the rod f1 pushes against the lever g1, which is transferred into the position indicated by dotted lines in FIG. 3, whereby the engagement lever il and the locking rod kl are released.
The recorder, whose dials have been set to the amount indicated on the sales slip and the number of the seller, is now ready for use. When handling the cash register, the rotation of the shaft s moves the lever l's in such a way that the table a swings upwards and approaches the pressure discs o, which then hit the control section of the
EMI2.2
of the seller's print. The cam disk rt then takes effect and by means of the lever ol and the hooks o, o drives the plate e further in the direction of the arrow x, so that the acknowledgment section now comes to lie below the pressure disks (FIGS. 8 and 10).
As a result of a new oscillation of the table a against the printing disks, the receipt section is printed at the point designated by 2, with the same notations as for the control section. By an equal oscillation of the table a in the opposite direction, the receipt section is brought to the numbering and dating device, which prints the character A, the complete date (April 10) and the consecutive number of the note (0075) at 3. The disk 1 then allows the plate e to return to the position of FIG. 7 under the action of the springs n, n; the table a is again moved towards the numbering and dating device and the control section at 4 is provided with the same reservations as the receipt section at 3 (FIG. 6).
Finally, the disk 1.1 acts again on the lever o1 in such a way that the approaches of the hooks o, o hit the rod na1 of the table a and, as a result of their oscillation about its axis of rotation, release the plate e, which under the action of the springs n, 1J automatically returns to the position of FIGS. 2, 3 and 4.
At the same time, the lever g1 has been moved back to its initial position and the apparatus has been locked again by the rod h1. Now the sales slip, the control and receipt sections of which are provided with the same notes guaranteeing the validity of the slip and corresponding to the information on the control and accounting strip, can be removed.
PATENT CLAIMS: I. Printing unit with oscillating printing table for check registers for printing the receipt and control sections of two-part sales slips with the same preregistrations, characterized in that the oscillating printing table carries a laterally displaceable plate (s) which receive the sales slip and which, when Drive of the cash register under the printing types (c) is shifted automatically in such a way that the notes are printed one after the other on the control and receipt sections of the sales slip when the printing table vibrates against the printing types.
