Cutting head for a dry razor
The invention relates to a cutting head for a dry razor with a mounting body in which at least one cutting plate is held. Depending on the type of cutting head of the type mentioned above, a cutting plate can be fixedly attached to the mounting body as well as being mounted in the mounting body so as to be movable to a limited extent.
It is often necessary to give the assembly body a complicated shape in order to create the possibility of holding the cutting insert (s) in the desired manner in the assembly body and, if necessary, of fastening it to the dry razor around the cutting head. In a known cutting

According to the invention, the assembly body consists of a sheet metal body which is provided on the inside with a body made of injection-molded or pressed material.
The body made of injection-molded or pressed material according to the invention can be attached to the sheet metal body in a very simple manner by injection-molding or pressing, and at the same time in the required, complicated manner
Bring shape. The material can be made of both metal and plastic, such as. B. nylon exist.
The only condition that the material of the body has to meet is that the material should be capable of being injected or pressed.
According to a further feature of the invention, the body made of injection-molded or pressed material contains pins for fastening the head to the device. These pins can already be embedded in the body material during the injection molding or pressing process; however, it is also possible to subsequently insert the pins into openings in the body that are cut out for them.
The invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment that relates to a cutting head that contains two circular cutting plates that are movably arranged.
1 shows a view of the lower side of an assembly body according to the invention, FIG. 2 shows a section along the line II-II in FIG. 1, FIG. 3 shows a section along the line III-III in FIG. 1, FIG a section along the line IV-IV of FIG. 1, wherein the cover for holding the cutting inserts and cutting members is attached to the mounting body, and FIG. 5 shows this cover separately.
A plate 1 deformed by pressing is provided with two openings 2 which correspond to the shape of the cutting plates 3. On the inside of the plate 1 deformed by pressing is a body 4 made of superpolyamides, which also has openings 5 through which the edges 6 of the cutting tips 3 are guided. These edges 6 have recesses which correspond to cams 7 of the body 4. In this way, the cutting tips 3 are prevented from rotating. Pins 8 are embedded in openings 9 in body 4. The pins 8 are used to attach the head to a dry razor.
In FIG. 4, the cutting head with cutting plates 3 and associated cutting members 10 is shown. A cover 15 is clamped over the body 4, as a result of which the cutting inserts 3 and the cutting members 10 cannot fall out of the structural body despite the fact that the cutting inserts 3 with their cutting members 10 are movably arranged. The cover 15 is provided with openings 16 which enable the cutting members 10 to be coupled to a drive shaft. The pins 8 are passed through openings 17.
