Ein in die Öffnung a eingeworfenes Geldstück b wird durch die Rinne c bis an das Hebelende d des Hebels e geleitet, welch letzterer durch die Schwere des Geldstückes b in seiner Lage so verändert wird, dass das andere beschwerte und verdickte Hebelende/ als Verbindungsglied zwischen dem äusseren Drückcrstück ss und dem Fortsetzungsstück h eingeordnet wird. Durch einen Druck auf das äussere Drückorstück y wird nun das Fortsetzungsstück h, an welchem der eine Leitungsdraht i der elektrischen Stromleitung angebracht ist, soweit vorgeschoben, dass es das feststehende Leitungsstück j, das mit dem anderen Leitungsdraht k verbunden ist, erreicht und das Lauten des elektrischen Klingels bewerkstelligt wird.
Die Mitvorschiebung des Hebelendes f bewirkt eine Drehung des Hebels e und eine Senkung des anderen Hebelendes d, so dass nun das eingeworfene Geldstück b hinunterfällt. Das feststehende Stück l verhindert ein weiteres Vorschieben des äusseren Drückerstückes 9 in der Weise, dass das Fortsetzungsstück h ohne Einreihung des verdickten Hebelendes f das Leitungsstück j nicht erreichen kann, mithin ein Läuten unmöglich ist. Die Federungen m und n, sowie das beschwerte Hebelende f blingen nach Aufhören des Druckes alle Teile wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Lage zurück.

The simultaneous advancement of the lever end f causes a rotation of the lever e and a lowering of the other lever end d, so that the inserted coin b now falls down. The fixed piece l prevents further advancement of the outer push piece 9 in such a way that the continuation piece h cannot reach the line piece j without lining up the thickened lever end f, thus ringing is impossible. The springs m and n, as well as the weighted end of the lever f, will swing all parts back to their original position after the pressure has stopped.
