  Streudose

  Shaker
The invention relates to a shaker. There are already closed containers known in which one end is closed with a membrane comprising a cylindrical part, this part being connected to the inner wall of the container. In the case of other containers, on the other hand, the upper closure is attached both inside and outside.

According to the invention, the can end consists of an aluminum foil projecting beyond the edge of the can, which is coated on the inside with a thermoplastic lacquer for the purpose of being welded to the can body.

The drawing shows an embodiment of the subject matter of the invention. 1 is a longitudinal section through the shaker and FIG. 2 is a partial section on a larger scale.

The drawn shaker has a z. B. made of laminated cardboard can jacket l, the lower end in the z. B. made of sheet metal can bottom 2 is rolled. On the upper end of the jacket 1, the diffuser screen 5 provided with the scattering holes 4 is placed by means of the flange 3 and consists of an aluminum foil which is coated on its inside with a thermoplastic lacquer and welded to the can jacket. The shaker is closed by means of the easily removable cover 6, which can be made of sheet metal.

The welding of the diffuser 5 with the can jacket 1 is of course done before the can base 2 is attached by inserting a mandrel into the can jacket 1 with the diffuser 5 attached, after which an electrically heated bell is placed over the can jacket. As a result of the heat, the thermoplastic lacquer becomes soft and sticky and connects the can jacket and the litter screen. The welding point is designated by 7 in the drawing.
