Fig. 2 schliesslich zeigt ein Bodenstück au ?

Cartridge case made of plastic
Rimless plastic cartridge cases and their advantages are known. Up to now it has been customary to use a metal base piece as the sleeve base, which is connected to the sleeve casing made of plastic by the engagement of flanges in grooves. The metal base has the usual pull-out groove and a hole for inserting the cartridge ignition. Such a metal bottom piece is subject to various operations during manufacture. It has to be turned and drilled on automats, and finally the fire holes have to be drilled. The result is a relatively high production price. Metal is also susceptible to corrosion. It has a large specific weight, which makes the cartridge heavier than is desired.
Finally, since metal and plastic have different coefficients of expansion, the seat of the base piece does not remain unchanged with changing temperatures, so that loosening and even sleeve tears can result.
Blank cartridges are also known in which the sleeve and base piece are made of plastic, the sleeve being welded to the base piece. Cartridge cases made of thermoplastic have also already been proposed which have a second inner case made of plastic and in which the
The bottom piece is inserted between the inner and outer sleeves.
However, these known designs have considerable manufacturing technology and use
Disadvantages on.
These disadvantages are remedied by the cartridge case made of plastic according to the invention with a bottom piece sleeve made of plastic and an inner lining made of metal, which is characterized in that the metal socket for receiving the primer is surrounded by the inner lining made of metal and the extractor flange of the plastic bottom piece sleeve is reinforced by an injected or cast-in perforated metal disk. The bottom piece with all its depressions and elevations is produced in a single operation by pressing or injection molding.
According to the invention, the plastic jacket and the metal inner lining of the cartridge case are thus connected by the plastic bottom piece case which carries the pull-out groove, a metal bushing for receiving the primer being seated in the metal lining. You can also inject or pour the primer directly or attach the primer yourself in this way. If necessary, reinforcement parts can be cast or injected into the bottom piece sleeve. The connection of the den
The inner lining of metal reinforcing the plastic jacket and the plastic jacket itself, which takes place through the sleeve-shaped bottom piece made of plastic, can optionally be sealed by a weld seam on the outside of the joint with the plastic jacket.

can open or. be inserted. The jacket socket c receives the primer b. The connection of the inner lining to the jacket can also be done by injecting plastic in such a way that the connection of the two named individual parts takes place at the same time as the production of the bottom suction sleeve.
At the joint between the jacket backstim and the base piece, a weld seam g can be made on the outside, by means of which an air- and moisture-tight connection is achieved. Finally, FIG. 2 shows a base piece on the outside. Plastic, on which the extractor flange is stiffened behind the extractor groove f by a reinforcing washer h. This washer is perforated in order to provide a more intimate connection with the material of the base piece. The metal socket c receives the primer b.
