Description

  Verpackungseinheit

  Packaging Unit
The invention relates to a packaging unit for granulates, powders, liquids or the like, which consists of lockable individual containers connected with the aid of webs, which are designed to receive contents in metered quantities.

When packaging and dosing various chemical preparations, great difficulties arise due to their hygroscopicity. Are z. If, for example, such preparations are pressed into tablets, they may disintegrate with decomposition of the active ingredients after a shorter storage time and are then unusable. This is especially true for vitamin C showers. Such preparations have been brought onto the market as granules in hermetically sealed containers. When using the consumer must the
Dosage yourself with the enclosed spoon or bowl. The disadvantage here is that air can enter each time the packaging is opened and subsequently the preparation attracts the moisture in the air and dissolves or decomposes.

Furthermore, a packaging unit has become known which consists of a temporary combination of tubular individual receptacles. These individual containers, which are arranged parallel to one another at a distance from one another, are connected by means of webs, one of which connects the generatrix of two adjacent cylindrical containers lying on one another. The webs are designed to break off individual or multiple containers. As a result of this configuration, the packaging unit does not have a smooth peripheral wall and is therefore inconvenient, for. B. to stow in the pocket of a garment. In addition, this training is very prone to breakage, which is quite undesirable in many cases.

The subject of the invention is a packaging unit for granulates, powders, liquids or the like, which eliminates the aforementioned disadvantages in that the webs, running tangentially to the individual containers arranged in at least one row, form a smooth peripheral wall for the packaging unit. There is the possibility of joining the containers together to form a unit with filling openings pointing in opposite directions. Furthermore, it is possible for the chambers to be of cylindrical design and for their filling ends, each provided with a bead for attaching a snap-on lid, to project beyond the tangent webs. Due to the tangential arrangement of the webs, the individual containers are also connected by two webs each and thereby combined to form a compact, break-proof unit.

For packaging preparations which cannot be stored together but which are to be used at the same time, certain containers can be closed by a common lid, depending on the simultaneous removal of the contents. A particularly favorable embodiment results when the chambers are cylindrical and each have a bead on their upper edge, with which snap-on lids interact to close the individual chambers in an airtight manner.

The invention is explained in more detail with reference to the exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing.

another packaging unit in view, FIG. 4 another packaging unit in view and FIG. 5 a section along line V-V of FIG. 3.

As FIGS. 1 and 2 show, a package consists of individual containers 2 which are combined to form a unit 1. For this purpose, the containers can be arranged in one, in two (FIG. 2) or in several rows. The individual containers 2 are held together on the outermost circumference of the packaging unit by webs 3, which run tangential to these and therefore the packaging

that is, give a smooth peripheral wall. The containers that are used to remove certain cans are each closed with a snap-on lid 4. For this purpose, however, the filling ends of the containers are raised by the tangential webs 3 and provided with a circumferential bead on their edge.

If preparations are accommodated in the packaging unit which cannot be stored together but are to be used together, two or more containers can be closed with a common lid.

In Figs. 3 and 5, a unit 1 is shown with only one row of containers.

4 shows a packaging unit 1 which has two rows of containers 2 which collide with their bottom or have a common bottom and the openings of which point in opposite directions.
