Welle sitzenden Organe in folgender Weise hergestellt :

Device for the automatic uncoupling of a handwheel on a shaft controlled remotely by a servo drive

to allow predetermined positions. Any freewheeling movement as in the subject of the invention is out of the question. This backstop also has a driving sleeve surrounding the end of the handwheel shaft, but which is rotatable on this shaft, whereas it is in the case of the invention. object is stuck on the square end of the servomotor shaft coupled to it for rotation.
In the case of other friction or clamping locks, springs are again provided, which press the locking elements, such as rollers, into the engagement position in order to secure an instantaneous engagement.
In the subject matter of the invention, however, the driver rollers are pushed into the free-running position by the springs and can only come into engagement after the spring forces have been overcome.
The drawing shows an embodiment of a device for automatic uncoupling according to the invention. Fig. 1 is an axial section of a servo motor for controlling an implement in the
Position for manual operation. FIG. 2 is a corresponding section taken in the plane II-II of FIG. 1 for the same operating position. Fig. 3 represents a section corresponding to FIG. 1 and shows the
Members in the position for actuation by the servomotor, FIG. 4 is a section taken on the plane IV-IV of FIG.
In these figures, 1 denotes the square end of the stub shaft 2 of a servo motor with its usual shoulder 3. This stub shaft, on the other hand, takes a handwheel 4 for actuating the
Control shaft on.
In order to be able to operate the control shaft in one sense or the other either by means of the handwheel 4 or by the servomotor without turning it, the connection between these two is made on the same
Shaft seated organs made in the following way:
A rubber seal 6 is mounted in the fixed part 5 and an annular disk 7 is arranged on the shoulder 3 of the stub shaft. A sleeve 8 surrounding the shaft stub 1 and containing semicylindrical grooves 8 ′ is inserted above this disk 7.
This sleeve 8 is surrounded by a ring 9, which also rests on the disk 7, is clasped on its lower part by the rubber seal 6 and has notches 10 towards its upper part for receiving the rollers 11. These are mounted on springs 12, which they normally press outwards against notches 13 provided in the hub of the handwheel 4.
These notches 13 have inclined flanks which, when the handwheel 4 is actuated, exert a force on the rollers, the inwardly acting component of which forces the rollers into the notches 10 of the ring 9 and presses them against the sleeve 8 and its grooves 8 ′. All these parts housed in the hub of the handwheel 4 and around the square end 1 of the stub shaft of the servomotor are held there by an annular washer 14 fastened by means of a screw 15; the overall construction is protected by a sealed cover 16 fastened by means of screws 17.
The device so constructed works in the following way:
If the working device is operated by hand in one or the other direction of rotation by means of the disengageable handwheel 4 (FIGS. 1 and 2) and the shaft 2 of the servomotor is stationary, the handwheel tries to take the ring 9 with it by means of the rollers 11. But this ring 9 is braked by the rubber seal 6. As a result, because of the notches 13 present, a force is exerted on the rollers 11, the component of which is directed towards the axis and tries to press them into the grooves 8 ′ of the sleeve 8. The handwheel is thus coupled to the shaft 2 of the servomotor by the rollers 11 and the sleeve 8, whereby it is possible to drive the shaft 2 by means of the handwheel in one sense or the other.
The distance between the bottom of the groove 8 ′ and the inner cylindrical surface of the handwheel must be smaller than the diameter of the rollers 11. Without this special feature, the handwheel 4 would rotate freely around the rim 9 without taking the shaft 2 with it through the intermediary of the sleeve 8 to be able to.
If the device is actuated by the servomotor (Fig. 3 and 4), the shaft 2 and the sleeve 8 exert a force acting radially outwards on the rollers as they rotate because of the semi-cylindrical grooves 8 'which are present, which is supported by the Springs 12 that press the rollers into the notches 13 made in the hub of the handwheel 4. The shaft 2 and the sleeve 8 can rotate freely without taking along the handwheel, which is also braked by the rubber seal 6.
