Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>

Process for stabilizing the active oxygen in organic ozone compounds
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Way example 1:15 g of linseed oil fatty acid ethyl ester are treated with oxygen containing ozone until saturation is achieved. The viscous ozonide formed is dissolved in 100 cm of ethanol and after a few days diluted with 130 cm3 of water for use as a disinfectant. This 5% solution immediately kills tubercle bacteria, staphylococci, C. olibacteria, etc.
Example 2: 15 g of linalool are dissolved in 15 g of n-propyl alcohol and ozonated to saturation.
The viscous solution can then be diluted with any other alcohol and then mixed with water without the formation of hydroperoxide. 5-10% oige preparations z. B. together with glycols and water are particularly suitable for air space disinfection.
Example 3: 15 g of resorcinol dimethyl ether, dissolved in 15 g of propanol, are ozonized until one double bond is consumed. In a 5% solution, the mixture obtained shows just as good a disinfecting effect as the product obtained in Example 1.
PATENT CLAIMS:
