Verschwenkbares Sitzmöbel.
Vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf Stühle und ähnliche Sitzmöbel, welche zum Zwecke einer möglichst geringen Raumbeanspruchung ausser Gebrauch nur zwei, gleichzeitig die Lehne tragende Füsse besitzen, an denen auch der Klappsitz angebracht ist und von welchen der eine als Drehachse für das Sitzmöbel dient, um dasselbe zur Seite schwenken zu können ; die Erfindung ist darin gelegen, dass bei der Verschwenknng in der einen Richtung eine Hebung des Sitzmöbels erfolgt, damit der andere Lehnenfuss nicht auf dem Boden schleift und nur in der Gebrauchsstellung auf demselben aufsitzt.
Die Zeichnung stellt als Ausführungsbeispiel einen solchen Stuhl mit Klappsitz dar.
Fig. 1 ist die Vorderansicht und Fig. 2 eine Seitenansicht desselben in der Gebrauchsstellung. Fig. 3 zeigt die Draufsicht, und zwar in vollen Linien die Gebrauchsstellung, in punktierten Linien den ausser Gebrauch zur Seite geschwenkten Stuhl. Die Fig. 4 und 5 zeigen den als Drehachse dienenden Lehnenfuss mit der Anordnung zum Heben und Senken des Stuhles bei dessen entsprechender Verschwenkung. Der Stuhl besitzt nur zwei die Rücklehne tragende Füsse a und b, an welchen der Klappsitz c angebracht ist. Der eine dieser Füsse) dient als Drehachse für den Stuhl und ist zu diesem Zwecke in einen am Hoden befestigten Sockel d eingesteckt.
Um das Mass der Verschwenkung den räumlichen Verhältnissen entsprechend zu begrenzen, ist an dem im Sockel steckenden Fuss ein Stift allgeordnet, der in einem im Sockel angebrachten Schlitz von passender Länge geführt wird.
Um nun zu verhindern, dass bei der Verschwenkung des Stuhles in die Stellung ausser Gebrauch der andere Lehnenfuss b auf dem Boden schleife, wird während der Drehung des Stuhles um die Achse des Lehnenfusses s gleichzeitig eine Hebung des Stuhles um ein geringes Mass veranlasst. Dies kann in einfacher Weise dadurch erzielt werden, dass die erwähnte Schlitzführung im Sockel schräg ansteigend gestaltet wird, oder dass in dem Sockelrand eine schräge Stufe f (Fig. 4 und 5) angeordnet wird, längs welcher ein in den Lehnenfuss eingesetzter Stift 9 gleitet oder dass im Sockel eine schräge Fläche vorhanden ist, auf welcher das entsprechend schräggestaltete Fussende des Sitzmöbels aufruht und bei
Verschwenkung des Stuhles gleitet.
Derartige Sitzmöbel eignen sich für Theater- und Konxertsäle. für Speiseräume. Schiffe usw., wo es sich darum handelt, die Sitze rasch und

Swiveling seating furniture.
The present invention relates to chairs and similar seating furniture which, for the purpose of minimizing space requirements when not in use, have only two feet that support the backrest at the same time, on which the folding seat is also attached and one of which serves as a pivot for the seating furniture around the same to be able to swivel to the side; the invention is based on the fact that when the chair is pivoted in one direction, the chair is lifted so that the other backrest foot does not drag on the floor and only sits on it in the position of use.
The drawing shows such a chair with a folding seat as an exemplary embodiment.
Fig. 1 is the front view and Fig. 2 is a side view of the same in the use position.
