<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

the control device is matched to the width of the conveyor belt and the depth of the individual goods being transferred to the belt, so that the return of the belt to the goods delivery position is initiated when the individual goods of a subgroup of goods being transferred have assumed a stable position on the belt and the goods the next subgroup have not yet entered the pivoting path of the platform-side conveyor belt edge, and a retainer that can be pivoted in front of the head area of the next subgroup on the platform with z. B.
Stop rod is provided.
According to one feature of the invention, the restraint device is coupled to the conveyor belt via coupling means in such a way that it is pivoted again into the blocking position when the belt is moved into the goods receiving position and when the belt is moved into the goods delivery position.
According to the invention, the self-seller of the goods is provided with a supporting device which is arranged fixedly on the device and extends to the head area of the goods which are located on the conveyor belt in the delivery position and which prevent them from falling over. The support device fixed to the housing and the retaining device are designed to be adjustable in height and side.
The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to an exemplary embodiment which is shown in the drawing. 1 shows a side view of an open self-seller in a schematic representation and FIG. 2 shows a partially broken section through the transition point from two inclined run-off tracks to the associated conveyor belts of this self-seller, in which the safety and control device are in different working positions.
According to FIG. 1, a device frame 3 has two parallel vertical struts 2 which are practically provided on the front and rear walls and which serve as end brackets for support members (not shown) for the lower-lying ends of inclined drainage tracks 12. In the vicinity of these ends endless conveyor belts 13 are provided, the goods 1 located thereon, for example milk, beer, lemonade bottles or the like, relatively high containers, after inserting money and actuating a known, not shown trigger mechanism piece by piece in the direction move an associated output tray 7 towards.
Each floor of the goods self-runner according to the invention has such an inclined drainage path 12 for receiving a large number of goods 1 and an endless conveyor belt 13 pivotable about an axis 15, onto which a certain subset of goods can pass in a suitable pivot position after being released by a holding rod 21, u. Between the two floors shown in FIG. 2, there is still at least one bottle 1 on the conveyor belt 13, while the transition of a bottle from the inclined run-off track 12 to the conveyor belt 13 is shown on the upper floor.
EMI2.1
Control flap 30 and a stop device 40.
The restraint device 20 consists essentially of a holding rod 21 which is pivotably connected to the conveyor belt 13 on both sides of the device via articulated connections 24, 25, 26 articulated on plates 28 with the aid of pins, screws or the like. The plates 28 are in turn attached to the housing frame 2 with the aid of screws or the like at 23 and 29. Slotted guides 22 allow the plates and thus the pivot point 27 to pivot about the pivot point 29, if desired.
The control flap 30 is a sheet metal pivotable about an axis 31 - or the like. Angle of which the leg facing away from the bottles 1 is urged with the aid of a return spring 35 against a stop 34 designed at the same time as a switch for a belt swivel motor. This leg also carries an angled shoulder 32 which interacts with a stop 33 and whose mode of operation will be explained below.
The stop device 40 consists of a stop rod 41 arranged along the length of the device, which is held vertically and laterally adjustable by side supports 42 fastened to the housing frame 3 by means of screws 43 in a manner that is easily visible in FIG.
On the inclined runoff tracks 12 of the individual floors, similar or dissimilar goods can be stacked as desired, which slide by their own weight in the direction of the conveyor belt 13, but are initially prevented by the rod 21 from stepping onto the belt.
The safety and control device according to the invention works as follows:
Assume that the last item on the belt has been conveyed to the associated output tray. As soon as the conveyor belt 13 is empty, the control flap 30 pivots under the action
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
the helical spring 35 in the position shown above in FIG. 2, whereby the left flap leg actuates a switch 34. As a result, a motor, not shown, arranged in the housing 6 is set in motion, which swivels the conveyor belt around the axis 15 in a clockwise direction from the position shown below in FIG. 2 to the position shown above in FIG. 2. At the same time, the holding rod 21 is raised via the articulated connection 24, 25, 26 which is rigidly coupled to the conveyor belt holder, whereby the row of bottles can slide a little way onto the conveyor belt.
The device together with the goods is now in the position shown above in FIG. 2, in which the control flap 30 prevents the goods from sliding further onto the conveyor belt 13.
After a predetermined time, the motor swivels the conveyor belt anti-clockwise back into the position shown below in Fig. 2, whereby the stop edge 14 of the conveyor belt holder comes into the path of movement of the goods 1 under gravity on the inclined runoff path and thereby a further advance of the same prevented. At the same time, the holding rod 21 lowers again and thereby prevents the relatively tall bottles from tipping over. When the conveyor belt is raised, the angular extension 32 of the control flap is released from the stop 33. Due to the now enlarged angle of inclination of the conveyor belt, the goods 1 stepped onto the conveyor belt are able to pivot the control flap against the action of the spring 35 and to rest against the leg of this flap, which is perpendicular to the conveyor belt.
The stop rod 41 prevents the container 1 from tipping over.
Now the conveyor belt can be moved piece by piece in the direction of the output compartment 7 after money has been inserted by a further motor, not shown, in a manner known per se, whereby one bottle at a time enters the output compartment from which it can be removed by the buyer. The swivel motor of the belt only comes into operation again when the last bottle has left the belt.
Of course, within the scope of the invention, other modifications of the control and safety device according to the invention, which are not shown, but can easily be derived from the example described, are also conceivable.
The other structure of the coin-operated self-seller with regard to the type and mode of operation of the coin receiving part, the coin checking system and the control of the delivery of goods by the coin receiving part can generally be that of coin-fed vending machines.
