Hydraulic adjuster for the automatic change of the mutual rotational position of two coaxially arranged shafts
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Surfaces of the flange 6, the crescent-shaped parts 7 and the disc 8 are formed, unless the surfaces of the parts 6, 7 and 8 are either covered by guide surfaces of the rotary blades or extend between these guide surfaces.
Between the firmly assembled unit inserted into the interior of the housing, consisting of the shaft 3 with flange 6 and parts 7, 8, and the inner wall of the housing 1, 2, there are gaps 20 between the edges of the flange and the disk 8 as well as the sickle-shaped parts 7 on the one hand and the inner wall of the housing on the other hand permanently interconnected Rmgläume 19 and 21, which form sections of the pressure chamber 18.
A connection opening 22 for a feed line 23, which starts from the pressure side of a pump 24, which is only shown schematically, opens into the annular space 21. This pump runs at the same speed as the shafts 3 and 4, and its suction side is connected to a container 25. A line 26 branches off from the supply line 23, into which a throttle point 27 is installed.
Between the rotary vanes 9 there is a space 28 separated from the pressure chamber 18 by the rotary vanes, in which the spring 17 is also located and in which the leakage oil escaping from the pressure chamber 18 along the sliding surfaces of the rotary vanes 9 collects. This space 28 is connected by a longitudinal bore 29 and a radial bore 30 in the shaft 4 with an annular groove 31 in which leak oil escaping from the annular space 21 along the shaft 4 collects. Likewise, the interior of the hollow bored shaft 3 is connected by a radial bore 32 with an annular groove 33 which receives leakage oil escaping from the annular space 19. As can be seen from FIG. 1, the two annular grooves 31 and 33 are connected to one another via the bores 30, 29 in the shaft 4.
The leakage oil that collects in the space 28 in the annular grooves 31 and 33 can flow back to the container 25 via an outflow opening 34 connected to the annular groove 33 and a line 35 connected to it.
With increasing speed of shafts 3 and 4 and thus also of the pump. 24 the pressure rises upstream of the throttle point 27 and thus also in the supply line 23 and in the pressure chamber 18. The rotary vanes 9 are pivoted inwardly against the force of the spring 17 and rotate the shaft 4 in one direction. The centrifugal forces of the rotary vanes, which increase with increasing speed, support the action of the spring 17. When the speed falls, the rotary vanes pivot outward under the action of the spring 17 and rotate the shaft 4 in the opposite direction. A specific rotational position of the shaft 4 with respect to the shaft 3 therefore corresponds to a specific pressure in the pressure chamber 18.
PATENT CLAIMS: 1. Hydraulic adjuster for the automatic change of the mutual rotational position of two coaxially arranged shafts as a function of a fluid pressure in a pressure chamber that changes with the speed of the shafts and of which at least one movable wall of the can pivot in a cross-sectional plane against the force of a return spring The rotary vane forming the pressure chamber is acted upon, characterized in that preferably two rotary vanes (9) arranged symmetrically to the adjuster axis are pivotable on one adjuster side about axes of rotation (11, 13) running parallel to the adjuster axis and each engage with an inwardly extending projection (12) on the other adjuster side .
