EMI1.1
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 4) ermöglicht.

Locking device for holding an automatic central buffer coupling that can be swiveled up and down
EMI1.1
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Furthermore, when the coupling half 1 is attached, the centering cam 12 also adjusts itself to the center.
In part 6 of the cap 5, a lock is also provided; this consists of an angle lever 16 which is mounted in the cap 5 and has a handle 17.
In the middle of the bore 18 for the angle lever 16, an opening 19 is provided towards the inside of the cap 5. At this point, a locking cam 20 is non-rotatably connected to the lever 16 and remains in the non-locking basic position within the opening 19 above the support surface 21 of the bracket 4.
If a downward pressure is exerted by hand on the coupling half 1, the
Cap 5 in the hook 2. Between the cap 5 and its support 4, 21, under tension of the spring 13, a gap is created which enables the locking lever 16, 17 and 20 (see FIG. 4) to be turned over. The gap is inevitably maintained, the cam 20 being clamped between the support 4, 21 and the draw hook 2.
In the present example, one or more disks 24 are placed on the support surface 21 to compensate for the height of the coupling half 1. The coupling half 1 is unhooked by lifting it up briefly and then dropping it. The cap 5 is through the
The eccentric cam 20 and the action of the spring 13 are swiveled out and lifted over the tip of the draw hook 2. During the lowering of the coupling half 1, the change-over lever 16, 17 with the eccentric cam 20 falls back into its basic position, so that the coupling half 1 can be restored at any time without any further
Manipulation can be hooked.
For the cap 5, the edge 22 of the hook 2 forms a cam control curve during the lowering of the coupling half 1, which increases the gap between the cap 5 and the bracket 4 and enables the cam 20 to fall back due to the weight of the handle 17, so that the lever 16, 17, 20 returned to its original position.
When the clutch 1 is out of its working position, the engaged state. should be pivoted down to the vehicle z. If, for example, to be coupled to another vehicle without an automatic coupling, the coupling 1 first has to be raised until the nose 23 of the cap 5 can slide over the tip of the draw hook 2.
But since the spring 13 presses this cap 5 so strongly onto its base 21 that it is lifted out of
Becomes almost impracticable by hand, only the cap lock 20 enables the cap 5 to be lifted using the lever arm 16 from the coupling surface 1 to the center of the bolt 3.
Between the two arms of each coupling half 1 that form the spring sockets, a connecting web 25 is provided which serves as a stiffener. In the unhooked state of the coupling half 1, this web 25 prevents the manually operated tow hook harness from jumping out.
The subject matter of the invention is handled - summarized - as follows:
First press the coupling half 1 and move the locking lever 16, 17, 20. Then you lift the coupling half 1 and let it fall. The draw hook 2 is released. The coupling half can be lifted back into its working position at any time, the draw hook cap 5 engaging over the hook 2 and hooking it in.
It should be mentioned as an advantage of the device according to the invention that the socket pins previously required to secure the position of the coupling halves are not required.
- The design according to the invention allows a transition from automatic coupling to towing hook harness by means of a simple handle and resilient momentum of the parts to be moved.
